  1. Chitowngirl, that has also been my experience. The first week after wls I lost about 10lbs and it has been an average of 3lbs per week since. My feeling is, as long as I am losing I am satisfied because I am going in the right direction. Good luck to you on the rest of your journey.
  2. I was sleeved on June 26. Today, I have some pain in my right side, but I know it will eventually go away. I had so much faith in my doctor that I did not worry about not waking up. I was however worried about him not being able to get to my stomach to perform the surgery because of scar tissue from previous unrelated surgery. We know VSG is a relatively safe procedure from our research, and as long as you trust your surgeon, don't worry. It will turn out fine.
  3. Your post is encouraging. I will have my surgery on the 26th and I am having all kinds of emotions. Hopefully I will handle them well as I have been looking forward to vsg for over a year now. Can't wait to start losing and feeling better.
  4. My date is the 26th. I wish you well.
  5. With these additional cost, it's good to have the right insurance. I am in GA and I am wondering which is the best health insurance plan for VSG surgery -one that doesn't take 6 months to approve.
