  1. Wow great job! I have that same weird ache sometimes. Must be our tummies adjusting. I hope you do well with your liquid diet. Thankfully there are more then one flavor or protein drink or I'd be bananas.
  2. Feeling blah today. Tired of muscle milk and soup. I got a wild the crazy idea that I wanted beans from my local mexican food place. Yeah......don't do that. I was sick and felt horrible for about 2 hours after. Another problem I'm having is pain in/around my large incision. The pain is like a ripping/burning pain. Its not infected or anything just hurts when bending and turning. The pain reminds me of when i had my c-sections with my kids. I had/have the same pain in that scar when I tweak those muscles. I hope that lessens because its very hindering. I'm down 19lbs and feeling pretty good. Just a blah day I guess.
  3. 1 of my 5 incisions is about 2.5 to 3 inches long. I'm certain it was pulled out there.
  4. Thanks for the encouragement!
  5. I was going to have to wait until Feb 22 for my surgery but I got moved to Feb 3!! I am 5 day post op and feeling good. My hospital experience was interesting. Surgery went great......only took an hour. After was horrible!! I couldn't keep anything down. My body hates medicine. After a day of dilotin and morphine I called it quits. I'd rather deal with the pain then throw up and not be able to keep any nutrients down. The pain is not bad at all. I've been off my pain meds since day 2. I am sore but its ok because I can tell exactly when I'm doing to much. I have taken walks and been out a few times. All occasions successful. My tummy gurgles lots. I don't feel hungry. My food intake is low. Today I had a protein shake over about 3 hours, 1/2 cup of applesauce, and 1/2 cup of strained soup. Tried to sip water constantly. I don't want to get dehydrated. This is way more than in the hospital. Maybe a couple of sips but that's it. So I feel like I am progressing very well. The hardest part for me is getting out of my head that I don't need all the crap I had before. I love food but not enough to stay 300lbs. Bye weight...........I won't miss you.
  6. Thanks Ladies.........I will try to focus my energy on pre surgery stuff. I love new pj's! Great way to treat myself.
  7. Hey Everyone, I'm Erin from Portland Oregon. I started this process in November and am having surgery in two - four weeks. I'm on the pre op diet, which is going great. I don't have a date scheduled yet and its keeping me up at night. I'm excited, nervous, eager.........and awake! I find sleeping is exceptionally difficult right now. I'm having surgery at the Oregon Weight Loss Center with Emma Patterson. I can't wait to have my surgery scheduled. I'm ready to get this done and start my new life.
