  1. There has been a couple of times I was close but held it back. Idk if I will do that much anymore and be in pain for 30 min when I could just let it go. Mainly I'm just really gonna try to NOT take that one bite too much! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  2. If you google reations to artificial sweetners and aspartame u will see there are ALOT of ppl who have bad reactions to them. They basically are nothing but man made chemicals. They also break down in your body to a simple form of formaldehyde. Some people are super sensitive to this like my daughter and can't tolerate them. Symptoms range anywhere from mild headaches to seizures. Depends on the person and how much ulyoubuse them. Unfortunately these products are used in so many foods now days. 3. I'm 6.5 weeks out and finally made the misteak of 1-2 bites too much. I probably would have been ok if I had sat still and let it pass but the laundry was calling "come fold me!" so just that movement set me off. Luckily I felt 20x better immediately and it wasn't anything like throwing up pre surg i was done in 15 sec. And went about my chores lol. It's alittle thing I like to call built in bullemia for when i take a bite or two too much. Live n Learn! Sent from my iPhone using VST

My 17 yo also hates incorrect grammar ... She posted on FB one day about it and how she " hopes u have a grate lyfe when you shure can't spell to save you're lyfe! Hahaha she's a mess Sent from my iPhone using VST
  7. I'm the same was 6 weeks yesterday, I have been able to drink really easily almost like normal from day 3. When I eat I can eat now it's about 4 to 5 oz. depending on what it is and I def feel FULL. Seems like alot to me too for this early but I'm glad I'm not throwing up and sick all the time. I have lost 28 total including pre op 1 week liquids, so I'm happy.
  8. Good luck! It will be here before u know it ! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  9. Good question I'm 6 wk out tomorrow. I'm 5' and started at 202 now down to 178. 7 was during pre op diet. I feel like I'm losing soooo slow but that's to he expected being a low BMI "light weight" haha doesn't feel like it! I would also love to hear similar sz and wt success stories and how long it took to actually get the weight off. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  10. I feel the same tomorrow is 6 weeks and I've lost 24 total 7 of which was pre op diet. I'm only 5' and started out at 202. I've been stuck at 178 for 2 weeks. I know it will come off it just seems sooooo SLOW right now. I keep thinking where will I be at 6 mo.??? Is this going to work for me???? It's hard right now bc we FEEL the weight should be flying off. I'm sure the reality for us shorties w lower BMI is that it will take longer. I know I have lost inches and fit into smaller clothes. So I guess we just have to learn to be patient AS HARD as that is right now. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  11. Ok short buddies.... I need some inspiration I was sleeved feb 6. So far including pre op loss of 7 I'm down 24. Sooo 17 since surgery. I have been the same for 2 weeks now. Just seems like I'm losing sooooo SLOW. it's really annoying. I know it will come off eventually but dang! And everyone says it comes of slower for us lower BMI ppl but right now I just don't feel like its working as well as I'd like. I wanted to be down to 160 by the end of May buy at this rate it's not going to happen.... Stuck at 178 for 2 weeks. I guess I need to totally ramp up the exercise. I feel like I'm eatig right and not too much. About 600-800 cal per day and usually less than 50 carbs. Drinking 50-80 oz a day. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  12. Ya couldn't wait long. It was like 9 days I think! I was fine u just have to be careful Sent from my iPhone using VST
  13. Well dang behead u got BLEEPED tooooo funny! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  14. Buy really small bowls and baby spoons... and just practice eating like 1/2 cup of whatever real slow... I did it some before surgery just to see how it would feel. I sure didn't do it consistently...but tried it out. After surg you won't have a choice and your stomach def lets you know you have had enuf after a few oz. It's a GREAT tool!!! 5 weeks tomorrow and down #24.
  15. So far I hold it in. I'm just over a month out and it's happened twice. So idk what is better. I've thought I that too... What if jus that could mess something up or stretch my stomach??? Not sure! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  16. PLUS you have to think about when u get sick of what ever plan your on and GAIN some or all of it back! We are all STUCK with this plan LOL so minimal of any gaining back over the long haul That's the part I'm MOST excited about Sent from my iPhone using VST
  17. Slim fast has a low carb high Protein shake now. The bottles are similar u just have to read the lable. More Protein per hake than Atkins at 20 protein and 2 carbs. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  18. That's so cool! Maybe I can do that with my dress in a few short months??! BTW I think this is the same dress my BFF had or dang close! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  19. I was stalled too but finally down 2# I just can't believe it's been a MONTH already! Feeling good and getting used to my built in tool! Lol Sent from my iPhone using VST
  20. Today's my 1 mo surgiversary too. I have lost 22 including pre op diet. 14 since surgery. Weighed 180 this morning. And I just started working out this week. 35 sounds super to me! Wish I was down that much! Lol but I'm short and lower end BMI so I exspect it will come off alittle slower. I agree TOM Plus weight training will add alittle Water weight for a couple of weeks but it will come off. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  21. Had surg 2-6 total with the 1 week pre op liquids is 21# ... I can't figure out my PIN # to update my ticker LOL. I'm short 5'0" and weighed 205 initially lost a couple then did liquids, 195 day of surgery. Now 182. I would like it to be faster, but I just started exercising consistenly this week bc I have been tired from surgery and off work. Now I'm back in a routine since I'm back to work. I thought that was a nice touch, everyone who my Dr. does surg for gets the gym membership which is all connected to the hospital network where I work and had my VSG done. So I'm def going to take advantage of that to get it good shape by summer and my 20 year wedding anniversay Aug 28
  22. I will be 4 weeks post op Monday and right now I'm walking on the treadmill 30-45 min at a time, and I bought some 3# hand weights that I can sit at my desk and do 25 reps of this exercise and that exercise for my arms thru out the day as I have time. When I go back to my Dr. around March 20 he will give me a release for "full" exercise and my 6 month FREE voucher for a gym that came with my surgery and 6 personal trainer visits. SOOOO I'm ready to try that...kind of scared but it will be a new fun learning experience I suppose
  23. I use the unjury chocolate with the high protein skim milk "Mootopia" from HEB, if you have the chain in your area. The unjury is 20 g and the mootopia is 12g protein and 6 carbs for 8 oz...so 32g protein for a 8 oz shake. I really LIKE it... been trying to drink this for breakfast and before bed everyday.
  24. Awww darn! HEB is awesome! well maybe u can find something similar
  25. me cry THREE, AMAZING! Esp. the part of not being in pics with your kids... yours are young and you still have time! Mine are 17 and 20 and I'm quickly running out of time for them to be JUST my kids... they are growing up so I hope now I will have alot more NEW pics to make up for all those lost years. Better late than NEVER
