  1. Actually ate low sugar instant oatmeal for the 1st time today and I'm 7 days post op. It's on my list of can have's, just thinned a bit with water. Wasn't able to eat but a 1/2 cup cooked but it was the best oatmeal I've ever had! So glad to be off clears liquids!
  2. Walk, walk, walk. I got up and made myself walk every two hours and it made a world of difference. Never had any pain from gas, just a little discomfort but it passed quickly.
  3. Sleeved on the 17th, two days in the hospital, home for 3 days and back in the hospital for dehydration and low blood sugar. What a learning experience that was! I'm diligently sipping my fluids and have slowly started moving into full liquids. Had some butternut squash soup and a pudding cup today and feel pretty good. Down 9 lbs. from surgery. Totally pleased with the results.
  4. I've had two c-sections and getting sleeved was much easier (so far.) I'm only three days out but the pain is way easier to manage then after a c-section.
  5. Home from the hospital today. They kept me an extra day due to not being able to pee. Feel pretty good, just sore because of the hernia he fixed. I am getting hungry but not ravenous. I did gain 6lbs but that must be from swelling and water weight. If anyone has any suggestions as to what to eat during the clear liquids stage other than broth, popsicles, chrystal light, G2, the usual would be greatly appreciated.
  6. Getting sleeved in two days. Super excited, nervous, anxious, you name it. One of my best friends had it done over a year ago and it changed her life (for the better.) Hoping the same for me.
