Why Am I Not Losing?
You are doing great! I remember hitting that dreadful 1st stall. I couldn't believe I could eat so little and stall for two weeks. Then one morning I got on the scale and I had lost 4 pounds over night! Your weight-loss journey is a process that is difficult to understand, but keep up the good work. It will be off before you know it. Best wishes on your journey.

Something To Be Thankful For
I'm most thankful for what I don't have this year that I had last year--I'm down 74 pounds since June 15th and I don't have as much physical pain as I had last year.

Tomorrow is 4 months and I don't care if I ever lose another pound

Tomorrow is 4 months and I don't care if I ever lose another pound
Thank you for your kind words. I've decided to lose another 20 pounds (I think). I'll still be just above the BMI charts, but I believe those are flawed anyway. Yes, It had only been 4 months when I posted those pics. I love the sleeve. It has changed my life forever. I

First time I'm sharing pics
You look great! Congratulations. Your arms look good too. That is where I am having the most saggy skin.

To tell or NOT to tell
I wasn't going to tell but sometimes I was so excited I couldn't hold it in! Other times people figured it out on their own and asked. It's difficult to hide what is going on when you are only eating 2 or less ounces at dinner.

UNsuccessful Story :( . . . trying to get back on track
Congratulations on the success you've already had and on your engagement. You can do this. You did it before and you can again. I didn't lose anything last week because I ate carbs all week, but today I had to get back on the train and focus on eating Protein. There's not a person I know who hasn't fallen off for a period of time whether it was one week or one year. The important thing is to get back on and with the sleeve I believe it is easier. Good luck. Keep us posted.

Tomorrow is 4 months and I don't care if I ever lose another pound
Well said! Thanks for the advice. I'm short of the BMI charts too and that is where the confusion comes in. I may just ignore the charts.

Tomorrow is 4 months and I don't care if I ever lose another pound
Tomorrow is my four-month anniversary and while I plan on losing more weight, I'm perfectly happy where I am. I can't believe the change in only 4 months! Here's the thing: My husband and friends are telling me to slow down on the weight loss. I still have 25 pounds to goal, but they are telling me I'm fine where I am. I'm large boned (really) so I don't really know where to be. I do know that my face looks better when I have a little extra weight. I feel great and my BP is now low/normal. Goodness! How do I know where to stop?

Cooking for your Family
It's really strange and probably psychological, but I'm finding I enjoy cooking for other people more than I ever have! I make huge pots of vegetable soup and give much of it away. I have also been freezing berries, meatballs, meatloaves and other foods I prepare. I don't like processed foods anymore (I think this is what has caused my weight gain pre=surgery) so I'm enjoying making my own meals and freezing them.
