  1. Hi Everyone - I wanted to give you an update. I was sleeved 3/16 and I was in the hospital until 3/22. It was rough but i am so happy to be home. I am struggling a little trying to get all the liquids in. But it is getting better every single day. Thanks to all of you who had me in your thoughts and prayers. -Cindy
  2. Hi march sleevers! I finally feel well enough to even type anything up. I was sleeved on3/16 and I am still in the hospital. It has been a ROUGH 4 days. My tummy is very swollen and isn't receptive to most things not even water. The radiologist said that there is selling at the entrance to my tummy and it is making it difficult for recto get even liquids in. Between that and gas that does not want to go away. My first night my blood pressure dropped to something like 59/61 and there 6 ppl in my room trying to get it back up . There have been other things but overall everday gets a little better. I am still in the hospital and pray I am well enough to go home today. But we will see . Hope you are are well! I am finally on the losers bench but I am off to a rocky start! Please pray for me!
  3. Glad to hear you are doing ok!!

    Hope you feel better soon!
  6. Hi there, I am March 16th also... Its going to be a GREAT day!! I am so glad to have some people who are going through the same thing, and even on the same day. My pre-op diet starts Monday and it is low (no) carb for 2 weeks. I can only consume 20 grams of carbs a day and that is NOT a lot at all. I am told that my carbs are supposed to come from veggies that have trace amounts of carbs. My doctor is not a fan of shakes for Protein (although he agrees that they are important for post op liquid phases). Anyway, I am hoping that I can stick to this low carb thing! I am so happy I have Sleeve sisters! -C
  7. I have been waiting so long, it sounds so crazy to say I even have a date...but I do!! I am getting sleeved on March 16 with Dr. Macik. Totally looking forward to being on the other side! ~cindy~
