  2. THANK YOU! I have been riding for about a year and started with a hyrbrid. This is a new bike so I am getting use to it and making adjustments as I go. I know that it takes time to get use to that, and want to make the right adjustments. I will be taking it in to my LBS where I purchased it this week for an adjustment..... Thanks for the advice....

  4. chris61... defiantly a good observation.....but we have had downpours of rain in my area over the past week and allot of the people in my surrounding towns are dealing with some major flooding. We ride when we can, as we did this weekend, but with the work week we ride as much as we can as well. I was just making an observation becuase this time last year we were the top thread, and we are not now. Also allot of people offer good advice on here and hadnt seen allot of them on the thread for a long time....just wish they could check in sometimes....thats all hope you are all having a wonderful day.
  5. Well, you know we have really dropped off the boards here on talking. We are not even close to being at the top anymore. Where is everyone hanging out? We are hardly on here talking of bikes anymore......??? Just an observation
  6. I am wearing a new pair of gel gloves this season. I have been wearing them all year and this is the first time I had a problem. The only thing different is my bike? I am proably going to need to take it to the bike shop and get some advice....I thought maybe moving the seat further away may help...not sure... How was the ride saturday?
  7. My husband and I went out today on a new route...he ended up with about 4 more miles than me, because we ended up with 94 degree temps, wind blowing at a good 10-20 miles with high gust at times. But all and all good riding and a good route. Questions for all I am having trouble with my hand getting numb. Mainly my pinkie and next finger. Still hurting this evening? Any suggestions? Thanks
  8. boy it has been pretty quiet on here this week? What the heck is up? I know I have been sick all week, and going to bed early.....planning on riding this weekend. Supposed to be in the 90's...yikes.... Hope everyone is doing well Everyone who is traveling, be safe

And my average was good..... Anyway...just wanted to say hello and check in hope all had a good weekend
  12. well. I wanted to share with everyone that I have gotten to my 1 year mark. (as of yesterday) As a reward to myself, I got my bike out of lay-way, and went for a ride last night. Love the drops btw!!! Need to make some minor adjustments and plan to go out again today. It is truly amazing how my life has changed in just 1 year. I have depended on this thread to get me through some day's, and it has. Your support of each other on here is amazing, and I truly appreciate it... So, as far as my 1 year mark. I am over the 100lb loss and am happy with that. I know what I should be doing and what I am not doing.....so I still have more to go, but have allot more determination than I did a year ago. I made a power point presentation to show my pictures as I have progressed....Amazed at how I looked this time last year. Thanks to all my online friends who have made this year easier and have been there to kick my ass a few times......I wont mention names....LOL To us all....raise our glasses and lets keep on moving!!!!
