Hi I was just sleeved on 12/7 and never really experienced gas or severe pain. Now I seem to be having pain between my shoulder blades and a very "full" feeling when I drink. Could I be getting gas this far after surgery? Maybe a leak? I take Prilosec for acid, so I dont think it is that. I am such a worrier and thought I would check in with all of you before I worry myself too much. Thanks!!

Hi I was sleeved on 12/7 and am still in pain. I have liquid Vicodin but the tastes (even flavored) makes my gag. I seemed to feel better in the hospital but I was also on IV meds. I have the most pain near the drain and in the Hernia repairs that were done. I was told day 3 is the worst so hopefully today it will start getting better. Hope you feel better soon. Stacy

Me too! I will thinking about my "sleeve sister" tomorrow. I have to say, I am far more nervous today that I had expected. Stacy

DEC 7th is almost here!!!! Hello to my fellow "sleeve sisters"!! What are you doing to prepare? Are you nervouse? I am getting a bit jittery/excited but I am ready. Have had all my appointments and Pre-Admission completed. Now I just show up Tues morning. Stacy

Hi I am new here. I will finishing up all my classes, dr. visits etc. that are require by Aetna at the end of Sept. Does anyone know how long Aetna takes to give approval? I am so excited and READY to have this done!!
