  1. I don't know about anyone else, but I have experience some things with the new me that I did not expect!!! I was never told that the high Protein diet will give you constipation:blushing: (TMI I know) which can lead to hemorrhoids:blushing: (which is an experience all in its self if you have never had them!), your feet loose weight which makes all of your shoes loose:thumbdown:, and your rings start to fall off:mad0:... Anyone else have any surprise outcomes??? But I wouldn't change it for the world!

  7. Hello has any one heard of FMLA or STD? FMLA is the Family Medical Leave Act, look it up it is a federal law. As for STD it pays up to 60% of your salary if you choose to enroll in the benefit at work. Your boss does not need to know why, just that you are going to be out on medical leave. If they push or demand to know why, see a lawyer as that is a violation of your rights! Hope that helps.

My recovery room experience was horrible because I had horrible pain, was very groggy and i freaked out because i did not know where i was at, why i was in pain, and why the people would not let me see my family. I have also never been through a surgery before so I was not sure what to expect so i think the whole experience took me off guard. But i am all better now.
  10. Congrats on the weight loss! Keep up the good work!

Today is July 13th... 7 days prior to surgery. I met with my surgeon today and did pre admission testing at the hospital. I am so excited but also very nervous!!! I am so scared of leaks, complications, etc. I am 23, 5'2" and 225lbs. I am so hoping for the best... Wish me luck. :tongue_smilie:
