Men are men. They don't think the way we do. Don't look for a relationship more than friendship. If it is ment to blossom to something else it will. That doesn't mean that will be forever. Cultivate friendships with everyone. Every relationship is a compromise. You are the only one who can determine what you can live with. Society states we need to be thin, and as a women, need to be in a "love" relationship. Don't rush into a relationship because you are lonely. Remember every experience may be trying to teach us something. And sometimes you need to buy a vowel. (I always buy the wrong one). There will be some one to love you when the time is right and when you are ready for one. Be patient and love yourself, your new life. And it is always alright to have a small pity party.

My GP has advised me that I am a very healthy fat smoker. My labs are normal, except for that I am boarderline diabetic. I go to the dr....never. I don't get sick (I don't have time for it) I have been between 260-320 for 5.5 years. I am still waiting for UHC to approve. I have gallrocks. I am afraid they won't and will approve me.

Thank you so much for the comments and experiences. I am still going back and forth between should I or shouldn't I. I really wld like to talk to a few people who have regrets re the surgery. I kind of want to know if the regrets are because the didn't use the tool or other reasons.

I am so sorry. Growing up we had dogs and cats. Each loss was.... I currently have a cat, Elvis (didn't name him. he came with it when I rescued him. He is king of the house.) I know how I will feel when he passes. I will keep you in my thoughts. I know that that we will meet our animals when we arrive in heaven.

I think my biggest fear is that I don't stay with anything. I am afraid that this is a commitment i won't complete.

I haven't had surgery yet and my biggest fear is that my boobs will look like 2 used condoms. I know in my head they are just tissue and Lord knows they aren't being used, but i don't want to look like that song "Do your boobs hang low...."

There a many walkin DVDs. Try them. I found that they are great for indoor activity if you don't have a Wii.

ps, are you suggesting diapers?

oh dear, I am considering surgery and it is nice to know what i can expect. my job is in a phone bank. Being old, and having become my Grandmother, who was very windy, I can't tell you how adventuresome it sounds.
