  9. I used to be on prozac and I weaned off of it. But I did it through my doctor so I woudl highly advise doing it that way by slowly lowering the dosage. It's true that everyone has different experiences. Try not to worry about it since you can't anticipate how it will affect you. All you can do is slowly go down in dosage with your doctor and see how it goes from there. I will be honest and say that if I were currently on them prior to surgery I would not try weaning off of them after for awhile. I went through a pretty serious depression the first 3 months after surgery b/c I was mourning the loss of my cupcakes and junk food!!! I'm dead serious. It was like I was getting divorced all over again lol. So if it was me that would not be the time to do it. But you know you best!!!
  10. I'm so sorry to hear this. But one thing I know about you is that you are a survivor. You are an overcomer. And you inspire me daily!!!!!

Thanks LilMissDiva...coming from you who I seek wisdom from constantly that is a major validation that I must be doing something right!!!!!!!!!! Lliana...Yes I get that feta salad from HEB in the deli department. Also I order Quest bars off of Amazon but you can get them also from netrition.com
  13. I went through a major depression after surgery b/c of losing the food. Also remember it does take some time for that grehlin, hunger hormone to work out of your system. Trust the process. This will work. Eventually you will see a decline in your desire to have food above all else. Trust me!!!
  14. You are going to do great!!!! Don't be scared. I know that sounds easy to say but try to stay calm. You are going to be experiencing something truly amazing in your life. Just get through this and you will see!

  18. For me it wasn't that bad but I've had 4 csections and my gall bladder removed so maybe I'm more accustomed to what to expect. But I do know this---I would do it again and again if I had to for the results. Hang in there!! Good luck with everything!
  19. I have met a ton of people who had this done . I would say half the people I know who have this surgery were revisions. When I was in the hospital, the lady across the hall from me was having a revision I believe it is quite common. Good luck!!
