I dont know if I'm hungry or miss chewing. I had cream soup today as well but my sleeve didn't enjoy it felt like a knot in my stomach. I had more broth and it was ok but I do miss chewing.
I had my surgery on a Thursday, drove from Mexico to Houston on Saturday and back to work on Monday. My husband wanted me to stay home but I was fine, the docs insisted that I walk every 30 minutes in the hospital so the general soreness became minimal.
I just return from Mexico where Dr. Alvarez completed my sleeve surgery. I could not have asked for a better group of people to care for me and my husband. The customer service was five stars. They anticipated my needs before I could ask. This group was very personable and took time to answer all my questions over and over again.
The 1st 24 hours was my biggest challenge, but now I am ready to start my sleeve journey, and appreciate reading everyone?s support and suggestions.

I am scheduled with Dr. Alvarez as well on December 3rd. Your post was well said, as I too am praying for daughterinlaw. After reading her post I was alarmed initally, then re-examine my self and I am physically, mentally and emotionally prepared for this journey.
My surgery is scheduled for 12/28 with Dr. Alvarez and I have also given my deposit and every week I change my mind. I read all the success stories in the forum and the one time I hear of a complication I am ready to back out. I have been battling weightloss for over 10 yrs and I am ready to get my life back, but you are not alone in your feelings. Evaluate your pros and cons then move forward, I feel very confident in the surgeon I selected.
