  1. Did the hunger just come out of nowhere for you guys or was it more gradual? I was 9/26 and my hunger has been very sensible. I declined my first full and told the doc I would be in touch. Just wonder of the hunger issue is lurking around the corner for me
  2. Lets just say I am wise in the ways of a woman. Also, I have a rare gift most men don't have. I listen
  3. Ladies I can attest that the gas hang around for a few days. Be prepared for it. You will quickly notice the difference between surgery pain and gas pain and will be able to treat the symptoms as needed. As far as crushing pills go, never ever crush pills without your doctors consent. A lot of pills are designed to dissolve at slower rates and crushing them will make them dissolve very quickly. It is always recommended to use chewable or liquid vitamins and meds whenever possible. Pills are still taken by several people but its a trial and error thing usually. My post op drugs were all pill form for example. It is always recommended to never take NSAIDS.
  4. Hey man welcome back. Number one thing to do is stay connected on here. Great group of people here that will help you through anything. Second most important is get back on your shakes. Third most important, do whatever these women on here tell you. They are much smarter than me. Good luck to you
  5. SInce this has somehwat turned into a whats worked/what hasnt birth control thread Im curious, whats yalls opinion on the Copper IUD. Non hormonal and last like 10 years. Somehwat expensive though.
  6. Geez!!!! Hurry up and tell that guy so he can stay in there a little longer. You wont regret it! At least I think you wont. Unless watching is the best part then you have a difficult decision.
  7. You are so very welcome. Congrats!
  8. Hey this is no laughing matter. This is serious stuff!!!
  9. What Steph, no story to share????
  10. Hopefully this topic will help some lacking in motivation find new motivation.
  11. It's hump day again and time for a new topic. Figured this week it was the ladies turn. How has weight loss affected your pinnacle moment? It seems that most women complain of having no to very little explosive moment during intimacy. Seems like mostly this has to do with frame of mind or a chemical imbalance but with living a healthier lifestyle and more self confidence, one would think that there would be bigger explosions, multiple explosions or at the very least an explosion in general when there used to be none. So, how has weight loss effected your "O"? Maybe it's heightened, maybe its worsened. Maybe with the new found you, you have thrown all your inhibitions to the wind and found out all kinds of things about your intimate side that you never thought possible.
  12. Bay, if every other woman has posted that its not the size that's important but more so how you make them feel overall, and you're posting size is the most important, maybe you would feel like sharing a quality of measure that us men could aspire to.
  13. The quicker you tell him the quicker you can stop cleaning up messes
  14. I had a two week bucket list of places to eat and foods to consume. Enjoyed my "last meal" of filet with a garlic whiskey sauce, loaded potato and 3" thick key lime pie. Followed it up with a chocolate martini and a hearty cigar. Loved every morsel and favored every minute of the last time I would ever eat these things or at certain places. I have since figured out you don't miss out just make better choices. I think everyone should have a last meal but not cause they are getting banded. Have it because that fat person stuffing their face at that last meal is dying and a new person, skinny person, better choice making person will wake in their place the next day.
  15. Sounds like you're progressing nicely and changing to make good habits. Keep it up!
  16. I guess what I should have asked is how is eating and not drinking going? The whole not drinking while eating and waiting to drink is tough. Had some chili tonight and it was super spicy. Had to to just suck it up.
  17. So how has eating and drinking been going for you all? Pretty tuff to get used to for me.
  18. Is it ok if I step in here and give a guys point of view? I'll do it anyway! DAAAAAAAMN!!! Your man is one lucky guy
  19. Just a thought. Try adding some fiber. When I was pre-band that always worked for me to help curb hunger. I add a little now but not as much. That could be one thing helping me out now. There is no way I could eat a can of soup. I had about 1/4 cup of pinto beans last night and thought I was going to die. I had over done it and was not hungry again till this morning.
  20. Congrats Debbie! Guess that means he thinks you're progressign nicely. My doc tried to schedule mine yesterday and I told him I wasnt interested just yet. So far I have enough restriction that Im very satisfied with what Im intaking.
  21. Laney, Im on the Isagenix sytem. Its where I get my shakes, fruit supplement, veggie supplement and calcium supplement. Its also where I get my liquid vitamin. Its all great stuff. I can always tell when Im on it and not. There are tons of options out there though. I know several people on Juice Plus pills and stuff like that. I had a friend start me on Isagenix and have just stuck with it. Sorry youre so tired!!!!
  22. And Steph is fully on board but I'm sure she could always use a second opinion. Maybe we should just have a panel of judges. I'm sure Haze would sign up.
  23. Bay, thanks for joining this thread. Some how I figured it wouldn't take long before you chimed in on a topic about the male package.
  24. There's my friend Laney...Welcome! I was like you. Dragging ass and tired all the time. I'm the complete opposite now. So much energy I can't sleep. What changed for me was I started adding G2 to my drinking everyday and started not only taking my vitamins but supplements as well. I get in 20 servings of fruits and vegetables a day through supplements. Dramatically changed the way I feel. I also try to take in some V8 Splash. That's got fruit and veggie servings as well. I could just tell my body wasnt nourished so I started adding stuff till I felt like I found the right combo
