  1. Yep! I saw it today. I think it was during the Jane Pauley show - NBC. I was at my annual OBGYN check up and saw it on the waiting room TV. joy!
  2. Im just a mom!
  3. Porclndoll, trust me, this I know about! peri-colace, its a stool softner and a mild laxative. You can find it at any store, walmart, target... anywhere! It Works!
  4. LMBO... I am so very glad to know that I am not alone! Poptarts are MY weakness (one of them). Sometimes this is what it takes to get ourselves back on track. What you did was very normal. When I have a strog craving for something out of the ordinary, I like to think that its my body needing whatever nutrients in that food. Please remember... this isnt about depriving ourselves. Its about reducing our intake!
  5. Alex, this is so very beautiful! Very touching. What a great reminder that when we lose someoone we love, our memories of them will be with us forever.
  6. Hi Hopeful! jealousy usually occurs from insecurity - so make him secure by keeping him a H A P P Y man

  8. Yeahh Deb! It does take a month (more or less) for most of us to "feel normal" again. And WOW, nearly -10 already! WTG! Yep! I agree, the support here is awesome! If it wouldnt be for this place, my journey would never have been such a success! Keep up the great work!

woo hoo Jayme! What a great story. So glad you are posting with us. Gosh, -63 in 5 moonths??? Fantastic!
  10. YES! Jamie, this is absolutely possible. I am the exact same way - more restriction weeks later instead of right after a fill. No problems though? Just take it slow and remember all those "rules" - small bites and chew well.

Thanks yall! I hadnt posted a photo in a while and thought it was time. What a great NSV for me - to buy something cheap from Walmart and it actually LOOK decent. Im not real comfortable wearing my clothes this "fitted" - and the skort was shorter then I like. Not sure if Ill ever get used to this new dress attire! LOVED the cost of it though!!!!

This is definately something Ive NEVER felt comfortable about wearing before now - still not sure how I feel about it. The shirt is a size 16/18 - $4.96, and the skort is a size 14 - $9.96. Both from Walmart! **Im editing to add that after I saw this picture on LBT, it looks like I have something black in my teeth - whats up with that??? Must be that HP camera **
  14. You guys are rockin! WTG!!!!!! Even though its Sunday, I just cant wait to report my news until tomorrow morning...... 189! *BIG sigh* I am A W A Y from that God fearing 200! And only -1 from my original -12 for this challenge! Thanks everyone for helping me do this! I love you guys, yall are the best!
  15. Right on Kathy! Thanks so much for the motivation John! And God bless you too!
  16. WTG Alex! Now this IS truly a Non-scale Victory Look out, before long Penni's gonna recruit you into her marathons! :D
  17. Ruthie, if you click on "user c/p" at the top left of your screen, it will give you an option of editing the information on your profile. Im not sure if this is what you are looking for!
  18. Yeeaahhh!!!!! :banana Happy Band Birthday! Here's wishing you lots of happy years together!
  19. Hi Norma! I know exactly how you feel. It seems like the only time I lost any weight is when I would get a fill, then things would stop. It took a while, but I think I figured out what I was doing. The whole idea of the band is for us to eat less = weightloss. You may want to try charting your food intake for about a week (fitday.com is a great place thats lots of folks use), then you can see where those extra calories are coming from that are keeping you from dropping more weight. And dont forget the water! Try getting in 60-80 oz's a day, this alone should help!
  20. Alex, so sory to hear you are feeling ill. But I just had a "bug" and had these same symptoms. I had NO appetite and MAJOR restriction = wonderful ! This thing lasted about 4 days - ugh! Whats funny is that I didnt have any nighttime reflux symptoms - maybe from my tummy being so empty? Did you have the reflux agian lastight? Coke icee's saved my life!
  21. Welcome to LBT! So GLAD you are here. You have a great story. A lot of things I could definately relate to. Are you still losing weight?
  22. Hi Flower, My doc does NOT prescribe pain meds post surgery, just liquid tylenol! So, the recital is 2 days later? You will be sore, but I think this is doable! I agree with the others about not "over doing" it, and taking a small walk every so often. Wear comfy clothes, nothing tight fitting. The pillow is also a great idea. A dance recital is somehting I would NEVER miss!
  23. Hi Nikkee... WELCOME to LBT! the 13th? Gosh, thats TOMOROW!!! Well be thinking about ya, Good luck!
  24. Hi Judy, Just wanted to welcome you here. I am not familear with that facility, where is it located? Good luck!
  25. Great info Betty! Name: Sugar Alcohols - sorbitol, mannitol, xylitol, maltitol, lactitol, isomalt, erythritol What is it? Sugar combined with hydrogen, which hinders digestion Caveats - None Daily Limit? No, but large amounts may cause gas or bloating How true. I ate some sorbitol in s/f turtles about a month ago - nearly killed me from the gas!
