  1. Thank you for all the suggestions!
  2. I'm looking for a meatloaf recipe that doesn't call for breadcrumbs. I'm thinking of trying to use muffin cups so it'll hold together.
  3. I was banded on the 13th. Down 18 pounds and loving it! I had a minor issue with my incisions, but started an antibiotic a few days ago...much better now. Eating slow has been a task. I'm using the Eating Slow app on my phone and seems to be doing the trick. I go in for my first fill on the 9th Hope everybody is doing well!!
  4. Noticed a little puss coming from a couple of my incisions, the doc is putting me on an antibiotic. A little freaked.
  5. I feel great, learning to eat slow has been difficult. I've been using 'eat slow' app which is awesome. But, my port site is super sore. I can hardly bend. Any of you having the same?
  6. Hi Debbie, Don't be afraid, you have to start somewhere. Remember to talk little sips though. Also, I find walking after helps move it around.
  7. That's great! I'm feeling fine. I'd say the day after surgery was the worst. I'm mostly just sore now around the port area. I'm already down 10 pounds!
  8. Try a heating pad, it's been working wonders for me so far. I was also banded yesterday!
  9. Tomorrow's the big day! Sooooo excited. Anybody else scheduled for tomorrow?
  10. I'm doing 3 day clear liquid diet. I'm on day 3, surgery is tomorrow. It sucks! I'm not hungry anymore, weak more than anything.
  11. Day one, clear liquids done. Wasn't horrible but, wasn't a good time either. I feel good this morning, not as hungry Day after tomorrow...band day!
  12. I'm willing to be band buddies with everybody! I started day one of my 3 day liquid diet today...not even 9am and I'm already hating it Just keeping my eye on the prize.
  13. I love this thread. I'm getting banded on Friday and only have told my mom and husband. I know the people in my life will judge and make a joke out of it. I'm telling people I'm having my gallbladder out. I did a little research and some surgeons will have you do a clear liquid diet prior to surgery...same as WLS. My cousin had her gallbladder out and lost weight, so that's my story and I'm sticking to it!!
  14. How are you doing? How much are you down now? I start my 3 day liquid diet tomorrow. I'm really excited for Friday.
  15. Hi, I have some size 14. Are you looking for casual or business attire? I'm 32.
  16. You look so much happier!
  17. My band date is one week from today! This weekend we're focusing on shopping for my 3 day clear liquid diet that starts on Tuesday. My nerves haven't really set in yet, still more excited than anything. Good luck to everybody getting banded today, can't wait to hear how your all feeling! Happy Friday!
  18. My only worry is the 3 day clear liquid diet. I get supper crabby when I'm hungry I think this part really concerns my husband too. He's already talking to me about trying to sleep through the 3 days and giving me suggestions what I should do to not think about the hunger.
  19. That would be awesome, band buddy...lol I'm also 5'2"...hearing your results after a month makes me even more excited. How are you feeling?
  20. *Well not we'll. dang auto correct.
  21. Good luck to you as we'll! Keep me posted on a surgery date!
  22. I'm September 13th, SOOOOOOO excited. Not really nervous. I start my pre-op diet 3 days before surgery, just clear liquids.
