  1. I'm scheduled for VSG with Dr. Fernando Garcia, on October 18th, 2013 nerves are really getting the best of me. I'm so anxious, scared, and just feeling uneasy. I know I need this tool; because I have lost and gain weight over and over, but I haven't figured out how to keep it off. Currently, I have asthma, Hypertension (I developed PIH) during my last pregnancy and it decided to stay with me, Of course; on top of that I'm obese. I pray for longevity I want to raise my daughter, see her graduate high school and college, get married and have kids. Today, I noticed I was breathing so hard and I couldn't believe how exhausted I got trying to shop for clothes for my brother in laws' funeral. As scared as I am, I know this is the tool of choice for me; I have to lose this weight before I develop more comorbidities from being obese. I'm also going alone; because I don't really have a support person. People tend to judge and feel that you should just be able to lose the weight. If it was that easy; I wouldn't be fat in the first place. The time is gonna fly by.

Mary71, You're doing great; you've lost 26 pounds in one month. That's a great start, Yes; you have to work on you fluid intake and obvious your food intake too. Stop beating yourself up, also make sure you are taking a multivitamin daily. Continue to look around the boards and I'm sure you will find someone that has face the same issue you are dealing with. Good Luck To You

I will follow your progress, thanks for sharing. I hoping to be sleeved in the next few months or so. Who did your sleeve?
  4. A few Frappes from Starbucks a week will get you there. If you feel comfortable at 15 that's okay, you'll just have to work on it, but don't over do it. I haven't been sleeve and was wondering about weightloss in a person that started off about where you started, my weight is 237 and I would be alright if I could get to 150, no less than 140. Good luck to you.
  5. Girl, I will admit; I was in tears reading this and wondered at times; why did you put up with it all. You have a good heart and I'm so happy you got a real man now, On the other hand, I experienced some bad thoughts about Josh when he wanted to put his hands on you etc. I really had flashes of slapping the ish out of him. God is Good and He will always bring you through. Josh needs a Bat and lots of Prayers LOL. So happy for you.
