  6. "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels" we all know some of our favorite foods are bad for us but in reality we know we will still eat it and that's fine... However, practice moderation and substitute healthier choices as much as possible! We can all do this. We all have made such great decisions to improve our lifestyles and remember gorging on food or going back to eating junk is not worth it! We all need to stay strong and be there for one another.. Mind over matter!!
  7. You can do it... After a few days it gets much easier and You do feel great .. Stay strong a few days to improve the rest of your life is totally worth it!!
  8. You didn't ruin anything.. Normal feelings and many people eat something. Some doctors so t require a pre op diet. I was on low carb high protein diet and I had some crackers with peanut butter whenever I got hungry. Everything went well. Go back on the diet though it does get easier. Don't be hard on yourself for the mistake just don't do it again. If you are finding it unbearable call your doctor he might let you have something. Stay strong you can do this!
  9. I hate bras I don't mind not wearing one all week!
  10. My hospital doesn't carry them I asked too they said some people can't cough and it does t help gas in some people
  11. Hi ladies I was banded yesterday at 945. Pain afterward was not bad the worst part was getting the iv no lie. I I my have a gas bubble in lower abdomin and walked about 30 min. My main complaint is that I can't pee. I only was able to pee 100 cc last night and 100 cc this morning at 4am. I had a catheter done twice. I'm supposed to go home today but I need to owe naturally. Pain waking up at 4 was awful. That's because I was unable to hit my medication button. I'm on morphine drip that I can hit button every ten minutes. They also have me a cup of water with sponge swabs for dry mouth. Dry mouth is the worst dry mouth u will ever have. Pieces of my Lips are literally coming off. Bring Chapstick. I have had hiccups a few times and they suck but pain is not killer... Then again I'm on morphine. Ill have Percocet and delotin when i go home. Seriously this was 99% easier and less stressful than I imagined. Day nurses were wonderful night nurses awful. I also am hot as anything in room. My father brought me his ryobi fan that's portable and runs off ryobi tool batteries that is keeping me calm and cool. Also I had to request ear plugs the noise in hospital is awful things are constantly beeping! My room ate is from my town and actually lives two minutes from me so we will switch contact info. She is a lovely woman that had the sleeve done. Ladies I am truly happy and so surprised how well everything went. I was exhausted yesterday but couldn't sleep and seriously was the devil no lie. Like I said I have been on morphine and didn't pass out because I had pee urges and they were keeping me up along with noise. Once I demanded a catheter after 11 hours on not peeing I was able to relax. Totally recommending this surgery it was so worth it! Again in short... Bring Chapstick, ear plugs, fan (if you are someone that needs to be cool while sleeping or likes a noise maker) and request mouth wash and sponge for ur mouth immediately... Just don't swallow. Wish you all the best of luck I will keep you al updated and in my thoughts and prayers!!

I really hope I can stay calm tomorrow and hope god is with me while I enter this new lifestyle. Some many things are going through my head and I honestly can't even explain how much this forum has helped me. You all have been my biggest, and I mean biggest support system and that may be sad because we really dont know each other but this support is better than no support. I am so proud and excited for everyone on here and I hope we all continue to communicate on our progress through the months.

  17. I actually just had some tomato soup!!! I read on here someone had it so I just bought it today!! I wasn't on just liquids I was high protein and low carb and I just figured since it was liquid I was okay.. Surgery is tomorrow. I did good on my pre op diet every now and then I munched on some trail mix and one day I had some peanut butter on crackers because I was so light headed. Overall I lost weight and I can see I lost weight so I'm not worried. I am so excited though for tomorrow it's insane I have no idea how I will sleep with all this excitement
