  1. I had the lap band almost a year ago this June. I was doing well and have 7 cc in my 10 cc band. I had a fill almost 2 months ago and tolerated it very well, no issues up until 9 days ago where I started not being able to eat and even vomiting on liquids. I'm so confused and don't understand what happened. Did anyone go through this before? Please help

  3. Hello all! I was banded on June 24th of this year. Pre-surgery I was 217lbs and 5'8". To date, which is 3 months later I have only lost 7lbs. I have 3.5 cc in my band. I am eating totally different than I ever have in my life(much less and high in protein) and exercising but I am really starting to think this is a failure. I have read through a lot of people's stories and everyone reports weight loss in the beginning and then it slows down. I am not losing this is heart breaking for me. Will the weight loss eventually take place?
  4. Hi everyone! I am using my fitness pal and I was wondering if when you exercise and they add more calories to your allowance do you use them? For example, I took a Zumba class today and that counted as 843 calories and the program added calories that I could consume. Are we allowed to eat more that 1000 a day if you exercise or does that not apply to us? Thanks!
  5. I was banded on June 24th. I lost 6lbs and have started exercising 4 days a week. I have been using "my fitness pal" and eating no more than 1000 calories per day, however I have not lost anymore weight. I don't understand why with the low calorie and exercise I'm not losing. Any ideas?
  6. I have not really been hungry since my banding which was 5 days ago but all the sudden today I am very hungry and able to eat more than I have been. Of course it's just the full liquids I'm just worried. Is this normal ?
