    So today I got my first fill. I had no fluid in my band and he put in 2cc. Hoping this helps. After a rough start (first 3 days I was wishing I didn't have it done), to being down 12 lbs and awesome blood sugars, I am not regretting anything!! The journey continues...

    I'm just glad that I'm not the only one!! I got the band on Tues the 14th and the last 2 days I have been STARVING!!! I thought maybe something was wrong but it sounds like its pretty normal until you get your first fill. Good luck and hang in there!!!

    I am currently going through the same issues/emotions as you are. I think we just need to HANG in there! I do believe its going to get better but I have so many emotions these last 5 days. The first day back at home was the worse!!! I was angry that I couldn't eat what I wanted and angry that I was getting angry about it!!! Good luck with your journey and hang in there!!

    Ok I just had my lap band surgery on Tuesday and I've been having a difficult time. Has anyone experienced pain in their shoulder that traveled up their neck? I felt I was 100% committed to making these changes but I find myself getting irritable and sometimes angry. I knew it was going to be more than just changing eating habits I just didn't think that I would be so emotional!! I'm hoping it will get better.
