MSAPP - I'm glad your doing better! When do you go for your first fill? ASMITH - Hi and welcome to the banded world. So I went for my first fill 6/20 and to my surprise i already had 2cc, that's probably why I was so darn sick after my surgery. I've lost 15 pounds so far, I guess not to bad but I'm not loosing anymore, the nurse practitioner gave me 1 and a half cc, so now I have a total of 3 1/2. I just learned that I have a small 10cc band. I've been eating a lot more so i think when I go back ill ask for a total of 5cc. The first fill wasn't so bad, thank god because I was worried, I was numbed and then a poked and Walla she was done. Not too bad! I do feel restriction, shortly after I eat, but I feel like I just started and wasn't enough and I put more in my mouth, grrrr I know! Not good! Like today my hubby meet up with me for lunch and brought Chipotle, I loooove Chipotle and it was the first time having some after surgery and I wanted to devour my food, got full fast and couldn't eat much, I wanted to cry just to see that bowl of great food go in the garbage. I guess, this is the part that I get my lazy butt up and exercise and have portion control. Please keep me updated on how you guys do, I love to hear all responses so let's all continue to keep each other motivated. We are the banded chicks!!! Lol have a great day.

How cool.... Dr. Nirmul performed the procedure. He was great. As for working out, I'm open anytime. You just let me know with time.

Welcome ladies, I was banded May 16th, pretty good so far. Haven't had my first fill, kinda nervous. I can honestly say this is the best decision I've done. I was 210 im 5, 1 im short, 3 weeks into it and already lost 14 pounds whoop whoop! Im 196 not much but it's so something. Banded May 16, 2013

Hi Getmygroveback, I went through True Results in Scottsdale. I was banded May 16th. It was hard the first week, but after that I started to feel better. I can eat a lot more, I haven't had my first fill yet. Im scheduled to go in on the 20th. Im 3 weeks into it and lost 14 pounds so far. That's because my body went cold turkey, lol.... I live around I17 and Northern. Got a membership at You Fit on 35th and Bethany Home Rd. Dobt know where you live, but if your close we can work out together. Banded May 16, 2013

Hi, and congratulations! Whoop Whoop! I love to hear stories like this. It inspires me! I was banded recently May 16th haven't had my first fill yet and not looking forward to it. But please do tell how you did it, I want the same results. Please share.

Hi ladies, im Vicky and just had surgery on May 16, 2013. Im looking for support it would be nice to stay in touch and give each other some advice. Currently im having lots if gas pain, any suggestions? Besides walking and moving around?

Hi everyone, my name is Vicky and just got the lap band surgery on May 16, 2013 and im just starting to feel a little better. Any suggestions on how to get the gas out. I can feel it trapped. ???? Please help! I know im going to need lots of support, maybe I can join you guys.
