  1. My hands had to get my rings sized, should have it done again but I have chosen speed bumps so they don't spin on my finger. Other than that I haven't seen too much change.
  2. Prayers going your way. I too am fighting with this disease. My liver is not as far as yours but I am going to get the weight off and exercise to get the liver healthy again or as healthy as I can. I believe getting banded may have saved my life in so many ways. Wishing you the best.

  4. Let the losing begin.......down 2lbs. Going down to 232. Didn't hit goal but I am heading in the right direction. Bring on August.
  5. I so agree... Find another DR. I also have N.A.S.H. Or fatty liver. After my banding I was pushed to the front of the line....to get my liver on the recovery. Losing weight and exercise is the key. Must get started before the liver hardens.
  6. I am 4 months out and have been losing and gaining the same 5 pounds. Had a fill and a chat with DR. After the fill I have found that there are foods I no longer can have. I feel I am getting close to my green zone. So very excited cause I have been depressed about the weight lost.
  7. Good morning, holding but not gaining. Looking for a good finish to the month. Holding at 234.
  8. Here I am again... Not a pound down...but NSV went from a size 22 to 16. So something is changing. Weight should follow.
  9. Congrats....that is wonderful. You are a great inspiration to me.
  10. Thank You so much for your encouragement. I have been logging my foods in "Lose It" but I am going to start today logging the old fashion way... Pen and notebook, maybe I just need to see it daily. I also have picked up my exercise program to 5X a week. I meet with a NUT on Wednesday and get a fill on Thursday. Maybe I will get more guidance. Once again thanks I have gotten more information from this than anywhere else. Next week is going to be much better.
  11. Today I am 4 months banded and I have staled at 38 pounds lost, nothing since surgery. I have small victories that I try to keep up front but my negative side comes out and tells me, "I am going to fail here too". See your weight isn't coming off just like all the other times......:-(. Sorry, for venting and letting this out.
  12. Thanks Mis73, I too am struggling with weight loss. Since March 13, 2013...I have lost nothing...but I am going to try your very simple diet. I have had no guidance with food at all. I meet with NuT on July 17. Thanks again.
  13. This month not starting out very well. UP 1lbs to 234.

  15. Thank you for the information and I also am glad to know that I am not alone and this can be handled.
  16. Didn't make my goal....but I still lost. I am up and down with the weight lost ending weight 232. Bring on July.
  17. Started this journey on March 13, 3013 @ 262, I am now at 232. I have fighting losing down 5 up 3 for the past couple weeks. My goal is to get off all meds, C-Pap machine and to see 135.....and to heal my liver.
  18. During my lapband surgery the doctor took a biopsy of my liver. The results fatty liver....several more test and several more doctors. The only thing that will save my life is diet and exercise so no matter how much I am disappointed in my weight lost, I believe that the decision I made by getting the lapband saved my life. Liver DR says if I follow all rules that my liver should clean it self of all fat.
  19. Here I am again. Down 1.9 pounds. Hitting the scales at 230. Slow is this race.
  20. Had my surgery March 13, 2013. And my shoulder hurt and the pain put me into tears. The more activity I was, the faster the gas left. So I began to walk daily. Not that I have continued this but the pain is gone. Best of luck.
  21. Much better week....down 3 pounds....231.9
  22. This is the best. I have been failing at my diet for months cause I wasn't sure of what, when and how. My NUT just gave me a list of what to eat, sometimes to eat and rarely eat. No measurements. I have read everything and that confused me more. Thanks to everyone!
  23. Banded March 13, 2013.....have had two fills and I am not doing well. Haven't lost anything since surgery. Watched my diet and added exercise 3X a week. Until now seems I am on a binge.....have appointment with the doctor tomorrow for another fill. I am in the hunt for my green zone.
