  1. I'm five days post op and having the same feeling!!
  2. I am five days post op and having the same kind of pain. My husband made me a milkshake as a treat today and I felt the same way for a few hours. Now my port site feels like its stretched. I actually laughed hard today too so that might have something to do with it.
  3. Third day post op and am having pain just under my left breast. My incision sites are a lot better today. It only hurts that one area when I take a deep breath.im trying not to have anxiety over it. Looks like maybe I should go back on thr Xanax just to keep calm. Calling the dr tomorrow.
  4. I am in Maryland. I'm feeling a lot better today. I just had some chicken and stars soup and I'm about to have some chocolate pudding. My incisions aren't as sore today. I'm still tired.
  5. I'm using one right now. My husband bought it for me. Lifesaver!
  6. I can slowly ease over on my side. Of course I'm scared to death that something has shifted or slipped. I have to get over that anxiety. Time will help hopefully. I haven't even tried my stomach. To chicken!
  7. That's good to know!! I just can't seem to get comfortable any way a lie in the bed.

  9. Thanks. I get to drink my protein shakes tomorrow and I am tickled to death. Apple juice and broth isn't cutting it.

  11. I wish my surgeon had talked to me after the surgery. I have five small incision sites. The one all the way up at the top hurts and the one above my belly button. That's actually the biggest incision too.
  12. I'm still very sore. Not to hungry. I've had juice and broth. I can't wait to have pudding tomorrow!!
  13. My surgery was Monday and my top incision is the one that hurts the most. It hurts to take a deep breath. Does all of this sound normal?
  14. I did great. I am back home in bed. Very sore. Can't get comfortable. I'm on Tylenol three. And I can juice for the next two days. Thanks for all your good thoughts and prayers.
  15. Successfully banded. Had to stay one night to have an upper gi this morning.
  16. Tomorrow is the big day. I think I am ready and have all of the post surgical things I need ie gas ex!! Reading all of your stories has really helped. I'm trying not to be nervous.

  18. My surgery is set for May 20th. I am into the second week of the pre-op diet. It's been hard but I have stayed true to it. Ive lost five pounds and feel pretty good. I have to say that I am very nervous about the actual surgery. I've never had general surgery before and I trying to stay relaxed about it. I suffer from anxiety. Any good words of advice would greatly be appreciated.
