I got my appeal approval in the mail yesterday and I am trying to get on the books for surgery officially and seems everyone at True Results is on vacation! So frustrating! I have waited so long and just want it done already!

Doing ok just want to get an official date and hope it's moved up of at all possible! I will be ok with nov 14 if I can't get it moved! I've waited this long! I am suppose to officially start the pre op on Thursday but am kinda doing it already just in case

How is everyone else doing?

When I got home an checked my mail I actually had an approval letter from the INS! True Results had appealed on my behalf and they said yes!!! I called True Results today to see if they have a copy of the letter and to get my name on the books for good! I was talking to my aunt last night telling her I want to see if I can get the surgery bumped up an she asked why because November 14 is only 3 weeks away! Lol I didn't realize how close it really was but I'm still going to get it bumped up a week or so if I can!

I have jumped through so many hoops and today was my "second last" weigh in as I was originally denied because I gained 1.8lbs from May to Aug. I got home tonight and there was a letter from my INS and they approved me! True Results Scottsdale appealed on my behalf. Tomorrow I am going to go back and make sure they have a copy of the letter and I hope to get my name in Permanent Marker on the books for surgery! YAY!

When I start mine it's will be two protein shakes and one meal (frozen Atkins meal) a day for 3weeks

I totally understand! I Gould have been banded sept 27 but because my ins changed their policy 5 days before my supposed last weigh in I was denied and just today completed my second "last" weigh in! I know how you feel it is so frustrating!

I have the invite but have not replied because I am waiting to see if my INS will deny me again or not! Last weigh in is this coming Monday October 21st. Surgery should be November 14.

If all goes well I should be getting banded Nov 14

Thanks everyone for all the replies. I should hear by tomorrow if the appeal was approved or if I have to have one more weigh in Oct 21.

How are you feeling?

Sorry I have been MIA but been depressed over the denial.My surgery was suppose to be tomorrow makes me sad I don't get to start my journey yet. I went for my 5th visit on Sept 23 and was down 10lbs! They were going to submit again and see if I still have to do another weigh in Oct 21 or not. I will call Monday or Tuesday of I have not heard anything yet. My PCP sent in an appeal on my behalf also.

I received mine at my first appointment. It was educational.
