  1. Good to hear I'm not in the dark. I was just wondering. Thanks for the info
  2. Way to go! Very inspiring and you look great! Keep the positive energy flowing:)
  3. I'm scheduled for June 6 th! I have such an attachment to food, I'm so scared to fail. I just can't fail anymore.
  4. Question, I have been advised by my nutritionist and surgical coordinator that I do not need to do a pre-op diet except the day prior to only have Clear liquids. It seems as if everyone is on a pre-op liquid diet. Am I the only one that surgeon doesn't require that? And if that's the case, I'm wondering why? I'll be checking with them Monday, but if anyone has insight on this, share
  5. I'm am SOOOOO excited ! I just spoke with my insurance company, and they approved my procedure yesterday! I just got off the phone with my doctors office, and I'm scheduled for June 6th! WOOOOO HOOOOO! I ordered some Syntha-6 Protein yesterday, as well as unflavored whey protein. I'm so excited, I've been crying for the past hour.
  6. Thanks Shady! I've fought breast cancer & won. I will fight this too! This is for me. I want to reduce my risk for recurrence more than anything bi want to know I've done everything possible to keep this disease from coming back! Plus on a lighter note, no more granny panties is also on the top off my list
  7. Good Luck and keep us posted!
  8. Keep strong and congratulations on your new journey!
  9. I'm going to rant a bit. I'll be scheduling my surgery this week. I am so excited. This is a long time coming. While out for Mother's Day dinner, I mention to my husband (as he kept pushing me to try something that I had no interest in eating) I said no, and I'm hoping going forward you will not try and sabotage me, but be helpful & supportive. I went over all the changes we'll need to make as a family, and his response " I'm sorry, I like to eat, and enjoy dining out". I just zipped up for the rest of the night. He's always making me feel bad. I am strong, and my kids are supportive... I'll kick butt!!'
  10. Congratulations! That is awesome... I can't wait to get my band!
