  3. On a safe note : we are having a big party next month. We were trying to come up with our theme drink - and making samples. I chose to stay clear. My husband was trying to get me to take a shot to try, I wanted to prove to him it was not a wise choice. #ididntcaveintothepressure. Thank supporters for coming through Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  5. I'm so glad you posted this. I'm three weeks postop and feel the same way. However logically I know that there is no way that I would be gaining weight with as little as I am consuming. So reading through the replies it makes sense that your body is healing. Our bodies need to adjust to this new lifestyle. Stay positive, that is what I've been trying to do. I know I'm doing all the right things, the results will happen eventually. Have an awesome day! We can do this! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  6. I feel great, and I'm back to normal daily activities. Like most, I'm exhausted but still moving on. The problem I have is that I like to cook. I have a family of five and continue to cook meals that I love. Today, chicken parm. Looked so good, so I took some of the sauce I made and mixed it with a little ricotta. Heavenly. But after the chicken came out I cut off a little piece and now Im suffering. Why do I keep testing the limits? Has anyone else cheated like this...yesterday I had a small serving of frozen yogurt. I've also had watermelon and cantaloupe. I haven't even been escalated to pureed foods yet. WTH is wrong with me. I need help. I need to stop these bad habits - Came so far to screw this up.
  7. 2 weeks post sleeve : I screwed up had a few pieces of past and tried a piece of chicken. It's in my throat. I'm so sick - what to do?? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  12. @@2goldengirl I don't think to fast. Since then I've only taken a few little sips of Water. I'm just hungry. It hasn't been like this : seems like today I was able to drink water freely. I was feeling pretty good. My husband & I took a day trip. Stopped at a diner where he ordered a bacon cheeseburger with onion rings & sweet potato fries. That was so hard to sit through as I sipped on broth. He's been grazing all day and he thinks HE'S hungry. Dang. Maybe that, accompanied by just Clear liquids is getting the best of me. I think I should go to sleep Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  14. After 5 days of just Water & some broth (I really can't stomach Isopure or artificial sweetener stuff) I had 1/2 of a premier Protein shake. Couldn't do more than that. Started to regurgitate. I'm so hungry and disappointed. Just needed to vent. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  15. I can't drink the isopure. It makes me gag. Although I heard they have iced tea flavored. I'll have to try. I'm going to try some more broth. It's crazy how you go from eating solids to not eating solids and its do-able. Something I never thought would be possible. I maybe tired but I'm in good spirits Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  16. I was sleeved on Tuesday 5/17 - I have almost zero gas I my engine. I don't want to move or get up. I have been doing short walks and that's it. I thought I'd have more energy- who is up & out and what are you doing for energy? I am doing clear liquid- but I can't tolerate broth. So it's been Water & ice pops. Any suggestions?
