  3. 30lbs is fantastic for month out! I hope you don't have to wait long either I still feel like a "newbie" trying to figure things out. Lol
  4. I've been a slow loser. I was having some trouble in the beginning but getting better. I'm so close to the green zone I can taste it! I've lost about 65lbs so far.... not great, but at least its coming off.
  5. Hi! I'm in Spring, TX also. I was banded in April.
  6. That's awesome, congrats! I hope that happens for me too, I'm kinda in the same boat. Going for a slight unfill Tuesday.
  7. I was self pay also went through True Results with Dr. Reiley. Total was $9, 888. They told me they would only finance $5, 500. I went through Care Credit for some and paid the balance with cash. I paid all when I went for my pre-op visit. The day I did my inital consultation, they scheduled my surgery for 2 weeks away. Two weeks on the pre-op diet and I was banded! Went by very fast! Good luck!
  8. Same thing happened to me at true results. After about the 5th poke, she decided to do an xray. I went for my first fill on May 16 and although it doesn't hurt anymore, its still swollen :/
  9. It's taken me 3 weeks and I can only lay on my stomach for a short time before it begins to bother me. But every day is getting better!!
  10. Thanks everyone for the feedback. I will definitely call the Dr on Monday. I did feel blown off when I went in to visit him last week for another issue. I didn't have a hernia repaired. I suppose most of the (intolerable) pain at the moment is on the right side, once I move, sit, stand, sneeze or cough if feels like someone just stabbed me. I was able to go back to work Friday (mainly sitting all day) and I was exhausted and looking for the pain meds when I got home!
  11. Hi! I just want to know I'm not alone. I've searched on lots of forums and I'm having trouble finding anyone going through the same things I am. I had my surgery on April 18th and I'm still in so much pain. The Dr. Told me everything is normal and I'm healing fine, but both sides of my stomach from under my breast to half way down my stomach is in constant pain. I thought I was going to die when I sneezed today it hurt so bad! I usually have a Med/high pain tolerance but I didn't think I would still be this bad off.... anyone else not feeling great just days after surgery?! Anything help?
  12. My name is Misty, I'm 30 years old with one daughter. I live in Spring, Texas. (Near the Woodlands and Houston)
