Ok so if all goes as planed, I should have my sleeve end of June or July sometime . Being big in the summer is already at times difficult , I sweat like crazy & I am always thirsty. Questions: How to stay hydrated after VSG in the summer heat ? Exercise & hydration? Sweating after surgery ? After reading some of the post ops I am worried about summer time sleeve :/ Helpful hints from summer sleevers ?

I have not had vsg yet but that is my plan and hope at this point . I have one ore month of supervised weight loss & then should be on my way . While having my Egd the doc said I had signs of avid acid reflux. This was new to me, I very rarely had any issues, only when I was pregnant. (3years ago). He then put me on med. for this "problem". I then within a week of taking this me started having indigestion like crazy and have felt awful ever since. I also was told during my stomach ultra sound that I have gallstones in the neck of my gallbladder . I felt like crap ever since they went fishing around doing these test. I had a attach of some sort the other day while eating dinner ( baked pork & carrots ) horrible chest pain, back pain between shoulders , hot flashes, nausea, dry heeves felt like something was stuck. Horrible pain! Went to ED, they gave me a GI cocktail and zofran. With in 10 min. I felt much better. Called the gastro doc next day & they switched me to nexium. I still have mild pain on left side of chest when I take deep breaths. And after I eat. Most psin is on left side of chest, right under sternum, and left side of stomach / abdomen . I am worried that my surgeon will say no to the sleeve due to this new issue. Anyone have issues like this before or after the surgery? So frustrated & I am so close to the finish line that I'm afraid of everything going wrong at this point. :/

Was just wondering why people leave the country to have the VSG? I'm new to this . I live on New York State & have insurance. Is it because you are self pay???

Hello~ I am new to this site, have not had surgery yet but will be done with my six months soon. I am 50/50 between VSG & RNY. I have been on the VSGTALK site so I decided to switch over & see the other side/ option. Getting excited & nervous, almost time to make the big decision & hope everything goes smooth with the insurance company. Looking at June or July . Any helpful hints are welcomed.

No clue . I never have just tested low two times.

Did you have a low cortizole test ? Or is this something that was knewly discovered? I interested in this because my first test was low & now I have to do a repeat test. :/ I really want this surgey & hope this wont put up a road block.

Hello~ I'm new to this site & was wondering if anyone here is from ithaca , ny area? I am done with my testing and should be done with my 6th months of supervised weight lost by end of May. Started support groups and so nervous if being told no go at this point. Just the waiting game that is bugging me so far:/ anyone have there surgery at CMC? Dr. Mesenas? Any helpful hints to get through the last few months? I have blue cross blue shield & going things go as planned:/
