  1. no ammount, eat as much as you like, i'm guessing that they choose those foods because they don't have sugar which goes to the liver. But trust me, after a few days, you will be so disgusted by the yogurt and cottage cheese you wont really eat too much. It's hell...but you have to go through it.
  2. This is kind of the wrong place for this topic. but anyways, it's a peer to peer downloading software. You can search for songs, artists or albums and depending on their popularity download it pretty fast.
  3. Well done! who said wikipedia wasnt a trustworthy source.
  4. EXACTLY how it feels for me, it's as if i had written it!
  5. Who else is going for their second fill, how has the first one been treating you? I got 5cc...feeling no restriction, I hope this is the one, if not i hope i don't have to go too many times seeing as its a 4 hour trip!
  6. Hey susansilver, i probably saw you there, but didnt actually meet. Im sure you know who i was...the youngest one there. How is everything going for you 1st fillers. I hadnt felt ANYTHING before the fill...i was eating fine...not i see what everyone who got something stuck was saying. OUCH, the gas, the hickups....it sucks! Is this how its like forever, or does your stomach get used to it and the gas subsides or what.
  7. Thats not an argument. It's like saying how do you think people did things before the micro-wave...of course it's an alternative...but internet map sites are the future. Or in-car GPS or whatever.
  8. Yeah, i lost 30 really fast, then once i started eating normal again i steadied around -20lbs. Cuz i basically was fasting during pre-op. So when my body was able to get food again i gained it back...now just waiting for fill tomorow to get going down again.
  9. call them if you want (i wouldnt tell you not to seek medical advice). But i had the same, deep breaths hurt. It's normal.
  10. if you search the forum there was a topic about him, its no big deal its not like he left and established another clinic, i think he was either tired of doing it or retired or something of the nature.
  11. no way! I asked for a reschedule (to earlier) and they told me no. Said they were booked solid.
  12. dont start getting down on yourself. The point of the band is designed to have a fill in it. Right now it's just sitting on your stomach doing nothing (although for some that does provide restriction). I am getting a fill tomorow (first). So once you get fills it should get you what you want.
  13. same here, and mr yoda as well. See you there, thanks for the heads up!
  14. really? Ok, well..i guess i'll eat around 10ish since my appt is at 1:30...cuz it says light breakfast on the sheet.
  15. you mean dr joffe? If yes, then he doesnt work there anymore, they probably haven't updated their brochures.
  16. oh for sure, in a bit you'll feel just like you did before going in. Like i said, for one week out of surgery i was like 60-70% and i thought oh wow, ok i feel good, but then when i came back to 100% only when i looked back i realised i was actually feeling pretty rough.
  17. yeah thanks, i found my papers, finally.
  18. can a road atlas draw out a route for you? Can it show you satellite view? Of course its always good to have one in the car, but really if you have a specific place to go, maps are too cumbersome.
  19. anyone, do you guys know?
  20. First 2-3 days pain sucked, after that it was better, i thought that i didnt get gas pains but now looking back after 1 week i felt so different after, so the uncomfortable feeling in the stomach was either swelling or gas.
  21. are you taking your pain meds? are you walking around every hour to help w/ the gas?
  22. Question about fills. Do we have to not eat or drink for 12-24 hours or whatever before the fills?
  23. did you give them any money?? if not then GET AWAY ASAP. After care is one of the most important things with the band...if they treat u like shit before...imagine after when they have your money.
  24. Yeah, i have lived that, i AM living that i'm only 1 month out of surgery. Thats why i hate when i see something that could help others the same as it will hopefully help me be shot down. (I do agree that it is not an overnight decision, but if the decision to get it done is made, then i say go for it). I weighed 320ish BMI 44....not healthy. I am 19, so time won't be good to me if i don't change
  25. Seacrest out, i'm done with this topic
