Hi everyone. I have been doing some internet research about having fills in california. I was very excited to speak with Gerald. Dr. Joyas assistant and he told me of a Dr. in Los Angeles who does fills for just a bit more than in Mx. His name is Dr. Bill and Gerald said he would send me the number. Hi I had surgery there just on the 13th of this month with Dr. Rodriguez. I loved it. It is a very American City. You would not know the difference except for the language. All of the hotel chains are there. I stayed at the Hilton Gardens. Very nice but the beds were not comphy. Or maybe it was me. I was up and walking the next day and had no problem flying out on wednesday after having surgery on Monday. I also only took pain meds for one day. My mom says I have a high tolorance for pain so I don't want to misslead you. I hope everything goes well for you good luck on your journey. Rica

I wish that I could say that I have any advise...but I don't I am so new to this I did not even know that it could happen that soon. I thought the erosion took several years (15) I will keep you in my prayers and I agree I wouldn't have the gastric bypass done either. Rica I hope you will be okay

Riverside. I have lived here about 5 years. WHere do you live?

Well I am new to this but so far so good. I am 35 married and live in Riverside. I was banded on 6/13 and now I am down 13bs. I am amazed at how this works it like someone put a magic stop button that I never had before. I worry that I am not like you all that have been so sucessful. I have tried and failed or tried and gained back the weight so many times. My husband and I met over the internet when I was 260. He did not want me to have the surgery but realized that my knees were beginning to go as I reached 296. This morning to my surprise I weighed 283. What a difference not fighting hunger has made toward will power. Well I'd love new friends who have gone or are going through this. Rica

Wow I hope he is reasonable for me my dr was amazing and pays for your first return and does free fills as long as you like but monterray is a 3 hour flight...so I would like someone closer. How long have you been banded? Is it normal to feel hungry but then only be able to eat/ drink a few bites?

Who is your doctor in TJ It might be worth a drive? I am still going to look for one here that is not 1,000 dollars a shot.

Hi I am new to the band I had it done on 6/13 and I am so excited I almost feel normal. I have lost 10 pounds and I am looking forward for more. So that I can get ahead of the game I want to make sure I have somewhere to get my fills I got my surgery done in monterrey, mx. A little far to go everytime I will need a fill.
