  1. I understand that we all have some similar things, but I would like to have a choice. I feel like I'm constantly digging now. I tried to give it time to get used to the change and work about the bugs, but this is something I am really missing.
  2. I use iPhone and iPad app. I am never on my computer. I miss being able to just click current and being able to see just lapband posts.
  3. I am 3 weeks post op and haven't been given a calorie goal by surgeon or nutritionist. I have been tracking in my fitness pal. Tracking the food that has been recommended for me puts me between 800 and 1000 calories per day. My fitness pal says that's too little and we could go into starvation mode and slow our metabolism. It says to eat at least 1200 per day. Is there any truth to this starvation mode thing?
  4. Miralax worked wonders for me. You put it in something right before bed. I just did water. Wake up, good normal bowel movement! No cramping. Really just made me feel like before surgery. I always recommend trying a stool softener first. If that doesn't work, then the next day I do miralax.
  5. Assuming you would weigh it once it's cooked?
  6. How much do you weigh? How tall are you? How many calories does your nutritionist recommend?
  7. I am almost two weeks post op and am getting ready to start soft solids. Much of the information I have received from surgeon and nutritionist has things listed in ounces. I have never used a food scale and wondering if it is worth the investment? Also, if so, any certain one you would recommend?
  8. I used miralax! Loved it! No cramping or anything. Worked overnight
  9. I just took some miralax! I'll let you know in the morning! And if I understand what you are saying by put it in the bottom...no way! Lol
  10. Finally figured out how to add a pic, but it is upside down! Anyone know what I did wrong?
  11. I know I can't drink for an hour after I eat, but what about before?
  12. I will be picking up one of those today!
  13. One week post op and still haven't had a good bm since a few days before surgery. Today I had my 3 servings of benefiber and took 3 stool softeners before bed. Hoping tomorrow morning is it! I have pooped a few times, but not an actual long guy. These are more like poop balls! Any other suggestions?
  14. My mom had her knee replaced and has to be on antibiotics before she goes to the dentist. Has anyone experienced this with lap band?
  15. Do you guys heat up your food before or after you mushy it?
  16. That sounds great! Eggs are not on my list yet:(
  17. I would say the nutri bullet works just fine! This was vegetable beef Soup and green Beans. I liked the soup, but not so much on the beans. I can't believe I've been waiting weeks to eat this! Lol
  18. Thanks! This one had no fruit pieces, But I put it in the nutrubullet anyway. It really didn't do anything but whip it around for a second. But I ate the yogurt and feel fine. 6 oz!
  19. For premade I use premier protein chocolate. I can only find them at SAMs around here, but they taste great and are 30 grams of protein! For powder I use Syntha 6. Definitely the best one I've tried and I tried a lot of them over the past 6 months. I have chocolate and vanilla and love both!
  20. Starting my mushies today!!!!!! Some things on my list say to purée and some don't. I kinda thought we had to purée everything right now. For instance, it says I can have yogurt for breakfast. Do I need to throw it in the nutri bullet first?
  21. Do I need to purée everything? Yogurt and cream of wheat?
  22. How did you guys prepare the eggs? I don't see eggs on my list until soft foods
