Hello all, I am new to this site and am learning a lot set to have surgery next month. I wanted to get some clarification on the Proteins drink. I just saw that you posted the more Protein it is better and less calories. Does that apply to the total fat or over all calories. I am still learning and I want to know what to look for when shopping. I did see Isoplus, Lean body and muscle milk. What would be the best protein to but as well as ready to drink ones? Thxs for your answers

I just was approved by my insurance and the date is set. I am so happy

I agree why go so far and take this big step in having surgery done and start eating sweets and drinking sodas that defeat the purpose

Yes call the 800 number and tell them you want an update on the status if your case. I know it's been 1.5 week and I was call every other day. I just want to get this going. I know that I reach far and am not giving up. I want to set my date for July. I want to know how it feels to be able to tie my shoes and not be out of breath lol

I just found out that there's two parts of getting approve for surgery which I didn't know. So I was approve for the first part the surgeon office have to send in some papers so that I can get approve for the second part and set a date for surgery. I am so excited I can cry lol

Hello I have not had my surgery yet, but I was told not to drink soda because it stretches your stomach

Does anyone have BCBS of Tx that was approve for the surgery. How long did it take to get your approval? My paperwork was submitted by my doctor office and I was told that it can take anywhere from one week to 30 days.

Hi Patti, Since you are already with the company, I would inform them of a surgical procedure that you would have to do for your health. You don't have to go into details. Meaning of doing this is to let them know ahead of time and when the date comes they will not get up set because you are taking maybe a week off. You want to be professional about it )

Hello my name is Tina, and I am new here also. I had my appointment with the surgeon and decided to do the sleeve. At first I wanted the band and reading all the complications that people was having and also the psych doctor also stated to go with the sleeve because he knew a doctor who had it done and changed to the sleeve. My paper work was submitted to the insurance company so just waiting for an approval
