  1. Prayers from Washington State!
  2. My surgery was 8/10 when was yours?
  3. I thought I was the only one who was unable to pee. They kept doing ultrasounds telling me my bladder was full, but I had no urge to urinate. They almost had to cath me too. I'm so glad they didn't though.
  4. Where are you having your surgery done?
  5. I had it. Doc prescribed clortrimazole lozenges. I had to let one dissolve on my tongue 5 times a day for 7 days. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  13. I'm on omeprazole for 2 months minimum.
  14. Thank you. My Surgeon prescribed 20mg omeprazole once a day.. I mentioned something about maybe still too much acid but he didn't seem to think the dosage should be increased. I drank some water when I got up this morning and it helped a little. I still have a hard time getting all my water and protein in.
  15. I've been taking a PPI, so I'm not sure if what I'm feeling is actually hunger pains or acid. I get this feeling when I go to bed at night and when I wake up in the morning to get the kids ready for school. I remember them as being hunger pains, but I thought they removed the hunger hormone during surgery. My surgery was 8/10, I'm 6 weeks post op today. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  16. A lot of people get their gallbladders removed at the same time????
  17. These are my scars 6 weeks post op tomorrow. Glue just came off, now time for Bio oil Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  18. I was in the hospital from a Wednesday to that Friday. My Surgeon saw me in the hospital once after Surgery and called me once at the hospital. I LOVE my Surgeon. I'm sorry for your bad experience, hopefully you can either find a new surgeon or get better care from your current surgeon. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  19. I'm 6 weeks post op and was taking Wellbutrin for depression. I quit taking it though because all meds have to be crushed and I could not stomach crushed pills. I have an appt on Friday to see about maybe a pill that has capsules I could open up and put in applesauce or something. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  20. I was sleeved 8/10 and my glue is just now starting to come off. Don't peel it off, it will come off when it's ready. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  22. I was sleeved August 10 and had my period at that time. They may give you some mesh underwear to wear with a pad during surgery. And if they give you heparin injections you may bleed a little more than normal.
  23. I am 4 weeks post op and have hit my first stall. Anyone else hit a 4 week stall? I've lost 30lbs since surgery. How can I start losing again? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
