  3. Is this normal around the port area? It is sore but nothing severe and I'm only 3 days post-op. guess I am paranoid just need support ???°
  4. What vitamins would you suggested are the best to take? The doctor didn't go over that with me.
  5. I am so much better today and finally I am able to expel the gas which let me tell you I have never been so happy to fart in my entire life, Lol. Thankfully here that doesn't offend anyone. I have noticed that I am not hungry and its hard to drink the shakes I have to sip them all day long. I can feel when my pouch is full. I know it's because everything is still swollen and soon that will go away but I am exhausted. Is it normal to feel this tired??? Will it be this way the whole three weeks I am on liquid?
  6. Banded yesterday!!!!!I'm very sore and swollen. My only issue is the gas, OMFG I'd rather give birth again Lol. I have been walking and walking plus I have Gas-X strips and have taken 4 so far. My breathing thingy kills but I have to do it so I don't get pneumonia though. Haven't wanted any food only water but I'm sure that'll change Lol.! I have bruising and some numbness in one area but time will tell on that tomorrow. Sleeping is easy if I have pain meds. Turning over was horrid though! The drive wasn't bad since I was able to stop and walk but it also made me realize the roads REALLY need to be repaired Lol. Well I'm up to walk and do breathing thingy then back to bed ???‰
  7. Tomorrow is my day!!!! I'm excited and scared all at once!
  8. Thank you so much. I can definitely stop and walk. I'm waiting for the Dr to call me back but the nurse said she is sure I will be fine as long as I stop and walk. I'm so nervous and excited its overwhelming
  9. I have my surgery this Friday and I live three and a half hours from where I am having it. The papers say that doing so can increase the risks of pulmonary embolism, stroke and heart attack. I know this is going to sound stupid but has anyone traveled right after? My predicament is money for a hotel being as I am self pay for surgery. I will find it if I have to but if its not necessary then I would like to try and come home. What are your thoughts on this?
  10. Thank you all so very much. Having all of you is a true blessing
  11. Hi everyone I am new here and my banding date is March 29th. I'm very excited to start my new journey and nervous as well. I have to go 3 1/2 hours from home for my surgery but it will be worth it. I have been browsing the forums and I see amazing support here and look forward to sharing my journey and I'm sure I will have many questions before and after ??? Tara
