Hi everyone.....I'm going to see Dr garcia tomorrow. I'm excited that I am able to go visit the hospital and meet him before I schedule my surgery. Is anyone else having surgery with him and would like me to ask him any specific questions? I understand most people are not able to have a consultation before surgery so I'm doing it for us all...let me know

I'm not sure how that works. I know for my job I just need a justifiably note from a doc but my pcp won't do it so I will see if dr garcia note will work

I work for a federal government agency and they are very particular about documentation when it comes to approved time off....my pcp is not supportive of my decision to go to Mexico so he won't write one for me. I talked to alma and she said that they will get me on I just need to tell them what to put I it....any suggestions on what to say without putting them in my business

I am leaning towards April 15th Ready 4achange With Dr.Garcia I live in San Diego so I am going to meet dr garcia on Monday and check out the hospital just to put my mind at ease then I will officially schedule my surgery. I'm so ready I have been going back and forth for 2 years! The tune is NOW

Im actually considering getting the vertical sleeve instead of the band after doing all my research....

See my credit is fair but not good enough to get approved for that large Amount on a credit card...im so frustrated right now I just want to cry...I have had my mind set on this went through all this crap to try for approval from insurance....accepted that i will selfpay but now no one will finance me and my family is not very supportive either...

What kind of loan did you apply for? Honestly since I am going selfpay i am thinking about VSG or Plication something with less follow up doctor visits

How do i find out if i have the hernia?...

I went to a few places as well as true results they only finance 5500 at my location so i would have to come up with the rest but i dont want to finance from two different lenders thats more money...i wish i could find a place that did 100% financing inhouse lol that would be too perfect...

Ok thank you for the suggestions I am trying everything I can...this really is so hard for me I have been trying to find a way but I may have to break down and save just for the surgery....totally wanted the surgery like LAST YEAR so hurt.....

Have any of you financed your surgery through your bank (chase, wells fargo ect..)? I am still trying to find a way to finance carecredit denied me i am crushed! I have insurance but dont meet the requirements 100%...

Thanks for sharing! I heard that offten times hernias are present but no symptoms show....i also have seen that people have qualified with insurance because of the hernia....

How did you discover your hiatal hernia???? I do not know if I have one or not but I sure would like to find out for insurance purposes...what do I do???

Ok so im new but i have been reading and this place is awsome.....Tomorrow I am going to my initial appointment at True results.....I really hooe I can get approved through insurance. How long does this process take what will i need to do? My BMI is 40.4 i dont have any health issues that i know of...is that a problem?
