Weightloss Change To Clothing Size
First of all LOVE the name. Carameldiva I mean come on what isn't to love. I started out 296 in a very very tight 22/24. I simply refused to go up to a size 26. I am 5'7" and down 56 lbs and 31.5 inches. I am now in a loose size 18. I would bet you would be several sizes smaller but in the 18's that might be pushing it. But who cares, YOU WILL BE IN THEM SOON ENOUGH. You could get in them if you work really really hard and follow the band rules. I noticed a difference in the way my clothes fit when I lost 30 lbs. SO who knows? Might be in them 18's.

My first fill today
OH no Samy. Tomorrow you simply must fill us in. OOPS no pun intended. WOW!! 6cc is alot even for an 11cc band. Take it easy and sip sip sip that liquid for a day or two. Whatever the doc recommended.

Ashamed
Marie, we all have different ways of handling things that are in our path. We all make mistakes and we all hopefully learn from them.

yo-yo restriction
Rainykiss: Sometimes to jump start a weightloss again I do a liquid fast for ONE day. Sorta cleanses the system of all the bad stuffs. Of course check with your doc before doing any fast. You can also change up your exercise routine some. Add minutes or reps. Up the intensity or do a different exercise. Try Pilates, Yoga, etc. Hope this helps.

My Belly Is Full,my Brain Is Hungry?
What I have found that works for me is this. I have to really think about why I am eating. I ask myself what is this filling besides my tummy. If I can't get an answer to that question then I don't eat. Well I try not to eat. SOmetimes my brain beats me up too bad. It's pretty tough. So you have to trick it. Drink Water when you are full but want something. Or keep healthy Snacks in the house instead of trigger foods. I call those the foods that can trigger my brain to go haywire. Mine are cheetos and anything chocolate. It is a battle everyday to keep the brain from overpowering our progress. Keep it up and you will succeed. I truly believe that.

Goodbye
Princess: PUHLEASE don't go. Imagine your best roger rabbit. PUHLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!! This will pass eventually. It really isn't always like this. We are trying to get everything in place so that this type of thing doesn't happen again. If I can do anything to keep you from going let me know. That goes for anyone contemplating leaving.

Goodbye
BigChixrule: I hope that you are feeling better after the choking on beans. Did you feel like a lump in your throat and then you sorta burped and some food came out? If so that is what we call PB or Productive burping. That is not all that uncommon with us bandsters. Bandsters is what we call ourselves that have had the LapBand Surgery. I hope you do continue to come back for support here. This is a nice and friendly board. We have just had a spell where we get on each others nerves but we get past it. If there is anything I can do let me know.

Post operative pain
It took me a good week to get back to feeling better. I can only guess that the pains in your shoulder are from gas that the surgeons use to get a better field of vision. IT will be reabsorbed into your system. Walking can help and so can heating pads. I just know that every day gets better and better.

I addressed this on that thread.

Goodbye
Although I would hope that HarleyNana did not mean it that way it does come across that way. I have to admit I would have taken offense to that statement. So again let's all be mindful of what we write and how it might come across to others.

2005 Vegas Bash
Lisa and I worked on it last year but the hotels I spoke to wouldn't give a very good rate. You actually could get a cheaper rate going to the websites. But if you wanna start looking at hotels be my guest. I am bunking with lisa this time so it doesn't affect me where everyone stays.

East Coast Bandster Bash???
The link states that you have to organize the walk. I wouldn't mind participating but what are the specifics? How long is the walk? Where is it? What is the registration cost? I couldn't find that info. Too confusing.

East Coast Bandster Bash???
Alex the bash definition is what we did in Vegas. IT was a blast. We meet that first nigth when we all arrived and ate somewhere. The next day we went to Lisa's house for an all day of socializing. The next day some of us met for brunch then we went our separate ways. So yeah no speakers or "planned" events. WE just sorta hung out. Those dates are GREAT for me. NEW YORK or NEW JERSEY either one is OK with me. If we stay in Hoboken we can take the ferry across the river to New York. That would be fun. LOL!!
