I am on my 4th port!!!
Just from what you have said and what I have experienced myself and seen my friends go through as well it sounds like you need to have the port removed and let that area heal from the inside out before you think about getting another port anytime soon. I don't think your body is rejecting the port (although I have no proof of that and I am no doctor). Call it a hunch. I would have to disagree with the doc that said it wasn't infection. Did he do a swab of the pus? That would be the only conclusive way to determine if it was or not. Personally I think you had an infection from the first port and they kept putting ports back in the same area therefore putting a clean port back into an infected area. Of course these are just my opinions. So take them with a grain of salt. I have heard of at least two or three cases and two I saw first hand where the port was infected and had to be removed and the area left open so it could heal from the inside out. I wish you luck and good health.

Let the Joyous news be spread: New Jersey votes yes on Gay civil union!
I will pray for your family as requested. And yes everyone draws lines. Mine have been stated.

Let the Joyous news be spread: New Jersey votes yes on Gay civil union!
And if I give you the answer (which I have answered) what will you do with this information? What difference would it make how I answer it? What purpose would it serve? Would you use it to undermine my beliefs? Would you throw it in my face? That isn't a christian behavior. I will now bow out of this discussion as I feel I have stated my views and opinions enough. My personal beliefs on certain issues are mine and I choose with whom and when to share them. I would hope you would respect that request. I would not pressure you like you have me for an answer when I have already answered it twice now. I will pray for you.

I am not the one making the law now am I? What purpose would it serve for me to answer that question? Besides you did not read and comprehend the statement I made regarding this issue. Here let me restate it here; It shouldn't be a crime to fall in love and then marry that person no matter race, color, creed, culture, or sex. And from what I have just read I would venture the founding fathers would agree that the government has no business making such a law or butting in.

That would mean I am judging someone. Christians don't and shouldn't do that. RIGHT?
-
Let the Joyous news be spread: New Jersey votes yes on Gay civil union!
AND? I am not bashing Christianity. I am one. LOL!! All I am saying is the Government has no business telling me or anyone else what the definition of marriage is and it certainly has NO business making a law to go along with that definition. It shouldn't be a crime to fall in love and then marry that person no matter race, color, creed, culture, or sex. And from what I have just read I would venture the founding fathers would agree that the government has no business making such a law or butting in.

And one more thing I found as well on this issue. Quote: The Establishment Clause in the First Amendment of the Constitution says: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion". This is a direct reference to the official "established" Church of England of Great Britain. In addition, Article VI states, "no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States." In fact, among the framers of the U.S. Constitution there were actually remarkably few devout religious men. Only one signatory was a former member of the clergy, and even he had given up that profession 20 years before to become a government administrator. The colected writings of most of America's Founding Fathers show that these were men who were far more concerned with secular pursuits, than religious ones. Most were worldly, well-eductated men - they were lawyers, businessmen, soldiers, diplomats, and even scientists. The model they chose for American government came not from the Puritans, but from the example of the (pagan) ancient Romans & Greeks. The ideas of the Constitution's framers on civil liberties and human rights come primarily from Enlightenment-era English and French philosophers of the 1600s and 1700s (many of whom were well-known religious skeptics). The American Constitution was drafted mostly by colonial attorneys trained in the British legal system. The Bill of Rights comes from English Law, not from Biblical law. In response to your statement of separation of church and state not being in the constitution, that is correct but here is a statement from a site I just read that speaks volumes of what the founding fathers intentions were regarding that issue. I will post a short excerpt then give the link for anyone to read further. LOTS of good info there. The framers were the very people who established the separation of Church and State, and not only that, but led the Western world by being the first to do so. The separation of Church and State was central to the framing of the Constitution in fact, a document that is purely secular. The founders chose a secular national motto and they wrote frequently about the need for separation of Church and State - as Thomas Jefferson put it: a "wall of separation;" as James Madison put it: a "perfect separation." Gadgetlady guess you missed the part that said you don't have to answer my question about my relationship. Don't really care what anyone else says about it. It was meant as a rhetorical question.

I would personally like the GOVERNMENT to stay the hell out of my bedroom. What gives them the right to say who I can marry? What gives them the right to make a law stating what the definition of marriage means? Isn't there this thing called separation of church and state? Or did I miss that day in school? I am not married, I live with my sweetie, John. I have been in this relationship for 8 years now. How would you define my relationship? You don't have to answer that you know. I believe that GOD has blessed my relationship. It is no different than same sex relationships. My sweetie and I have taken steps to protect each other in cases of medical emergency and have wills set up. In same sex relationships it is difficult for the same protection to take place. This screams of discrimination. The Government should stay out of it. It ain't their business.

George Bush: Worst American president in history
Now I will post my personal opinion. You don't have to agree with it. You don't even have to respond. I am just replying to the original post. Bush, in my opinion, was NOT elected but appointed in the first election. That was a sad sad day. I cried and prayed for guidance and hope for our country. Then 9/11 happened. I was hoping that Bush would step up and defend our country. He responded by attacking the WRONG country. Iraq had NOTHING to do with the events from 9/11. Now our men and women are in harm's way for the wrong reasons. I pray for their safety every night. I pray for Bush to see the light and seek some more helpful and intelligent guidance than he has received so far. Maybe he should start listening to his father. He seemed to make more sense when he held the office. I at least have respect for him. But his son has been a huge embarrassment since taking office both times. I am so happy that he cannot hold office again. On the Clinton issue, I still say and will continue to say, what difference does it make who he gets his pleasures from as long as it was concentual. WHO CARES? The real crime is showing it on National TV every day and putting us all through the ordeal. Yes as long as people are elected / appointed to positions of power there will be corruption not long to follow. Power goes to some peoples heads faster than others. Some aren't prepared for the position of power and seek advisors. Those are the ones to look out for. Our country is not very popular right now with foreign countries. I don't blame them at all. I am very ashamed of our government and how things have been handled with this Presidency. I will continue to say my prayers every night that hopefully we get back to the great country we once was. I pray that we will once again be seen as a kind and compassionate country. I pray that we can undo some of the harm that has been done to innocent countries by this Presidency.
