OK my weigh in for this week is 252 lbs. I lost a .5 lb. WISH it was more. Looks like Lisa might just win this competition. But the good thing is my fill seems to be back in full force. The restriction is coming on strong. I got a 1cc fill on July 9th and it sorta kinda gave me some restricition. Then all of a sudden I have alot of restriction but not too much. I can still drink liquids without problems. I just have to master the art of taking smaller bites again like when I was first banded. I keep saying I am having sympathy restriction with Pam's first fill yesterday. LOL!!! At any rate, it is forcing me to relearn what I already learned but forgot. Anyone else experience this phenomen???

ME TOO!!! That is too cool. Terry: Don't worry about the checking on prices. I am glad that someone did that. I was going to check around here and see what the cost would be as well. Hopefully I can do that by the first of next week. What color shirt did you ask for? Also, I don't think we need a pocket on the shirts. I know I don't care for one. I would like a good quality shirt that isn't thin but has some meat to it. Ya Know what I am saying?

No, Dr. Billy does not use Flouro unless he has complications locating the port or gaining access. He says it is a waste of time and money and should be used for complications only. Unless of course the patient wants him to use Flouro and then he will access the port that way. I have to admit he is very skilled in his job. Even though mine was tilted initially he found it and accessed it just fine. I will most likely get a fill in Sept when I go back for my next appointment.

Teresa: Yes Pam got a fill today. She is feeling the restriction from water so it was good. Dr.Billy got it on the first stick. He is good. LOL!!!

I sent Alex an email through this website. HOpefully he will respond soon. I love Whipple daddy's idea too.

My plane gets in late on the 27th around 5p. The 30th sounds good to me. I am game for anything really. I know Houston's on West End has a great Veggie Burger that goes down easy with us Bandster's. But I am game to try anything. Ruby Tuesday's works for me too. It is just down the street from my hotel. But I have lived in Nashville for 8 years and pretty much know my way around so just tell me where you guys wanna meet and I am so there. SEX?????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Huh? What? Where? When? How? Why? LOL!! Well, I just got back from Dr. Billy's office for a follow up after my port revision surgery. He is such a hottie. I took Pam with me as she had an appt as well. She concurred with me that he is a hottie. We were both drooling. LOL!!! Anyway, I digress. I got a clean bill of health and the ENDO results were negative. ALL clear everything looks normal. There was also NO signs of infection. He took a couple of swabs in the port area and there was nothing growing. I no longer have the protrusion thingy. My incision is nice and pink now and almost non existent. I elected to not get a fill till my next appointment in Sept. He agreed that was a good idea. Nothing much going on around here. Except at the end of the month my girlfriend and I are going to Jamaica for a week. WHOO HOO!!! I will post some pics when I get home. I think I will get my hair braided. I did that once before when I was there. Just imagine a whole week in Jamaica. Beaches, Pools, Cabana boys at my beck and call, nothing to do but get a tan. WHOO HOO!! I can't wait. Hey, if my girlfriend can't go does one of you wanna come with me? I have a room to share. All you need is your airfare from where you live to Montego Bay, Jamaica. LOL!!!

OK my plans are as such. I arrive in town on the 27th and will be in Nashville through the 31st. I leave that morning for Jamaica with a girlfriend. I have a committment on the 29th but for the most part the rest of the time is free. Just let me know. I will be staying at the Prime Hotels and Resorts over by the Airport off Donelson Pike. It used to be the Wyndham Hotel but the name changed.

Must have been something in the air this past week. I was eating some potato salad the other day. Chewing really well or so I thought. No problems at all. Ate a piece of cheese then WHAM there it was. Only this time it wasn't a golf ball it was a soft ball feeling. OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could not eat anything for the rest of the day. Liquids wouldn't even go down. I just let my tummy rest for the rest of the night and then the next morning I tried breakfast and WHAM it was back. Obviously the one piece of potato salad hadn't gone through and it was partially blocking the opening. I could at least drink water and liquids the next day. During lunch I felt it pass through and stuck with liquids the rest of the day and into the next day to give my tummy a much needed rest. I can't stress enough to everyone to CHEW CHEW CHEW your food. I was getting ready to call my hunky doc when it passed on through the opening. THat is NOT a good feeling.

Hey you guys in TN: I am planning a trip to Nashville this month. I will be in town from the 26th through the 30th for a family event. I would love to meet some of you if you can get together. I used to live in Nashville for 8 years. My daughter lives in Clarksville and my Mother lives in Kentucky so I come to visit often. Let me know if it is possible to meet for lunch or something.

Janie the Glucosomine Chrondroitin is a good suggestion. I was taking them prior to my lap band surgery and they really helped my knee problems. Of course now that I have lost 40 lbs my knees are not bothering me as much. But the GC will help you RICA. I highly suggest getting some.

Have you tried getting in touch with Inamed Corporation that manufactures the LAP BAND? www.inamed.com Also, who did her surgery? Maybe they can suggest someone in your area.

Can't comment on Dr. Kuri but there are several on here that can and I am sure they will chime in soon. Welcome aboard the Band Boat, chloeygirlla. Watch your step as you board the boat. Soups and Clear liquids to your right. Mushy and normal foods to your left. No pushing please. All will get the same amount of food stuffs.

To all prospective newcomers to the Vegas BASH: Below is a tentative Itinerary for the October events. 8th = Friday night we have a dinner meet at some area restaurant or in one of the restaurants in the hotels. Buca DiBeppo was a suggestion by Lisa. Head over to the BINGO and disrupt the proceedings. LOL!!! 9th = Saturday we plan on heading to Lisa's house for the day. Barbeque later that afternoon. Gabbing till we drop. Prize to the most original scar design. Prize to the either Penni or Lisa for who lost the most weight. LOL!! 10th = Sunday (depending on when people have to leave) do a brunch somewhere and say our goodbyes. Most of us are staying at the Howard Johnson's (HOJO) located at 5100 Paradise Road, in Vegas. You can get a better deal by going to the website directly www.howardjohnsons.com The dates are October 8, 9, and 10. Check in on the 8th; check out on the 10th. The rate I received was $49.00 a night going through the website. Anywhere else it is higher. It is not required that you stay at the HOJO. That is just where the predominate bunch of us are staying.
