  11. I felt the same way. Had a panic attack 20 mins before surgery and had to reschedule. When I did have the procedure, I was so angry with myself for getting worked up over nothing. Just stay calm relax, keep thinking about being on the other side. Pray to the god you serve and allow him to move mountains for you. It will be like having the best nap ever!!!!!!!

  21. My support group leader goes on and on about being accountable. She considers accountability being done by weigh ins being done often. Hints why my Title is slave to the scale. I see the changes and feel great. I dont have temptation to eat like I use to....My issue is I get on and see that number and wonder if I am being accountable enough. Then I start feeling bad. Yes 49lbs is a large amount of weight and I am proud of myself. I love giving away my larger clothes but in the back of my mind its always am I really being accountable, could I be doing more. I just need to get rid of my scale and let my weigh-ins at the doctor be enough. Thanks eveyone!!!!
  22. everyday I jump on this thing. I wait for the number. once I have it I am always disappointed. After, my mind begins to wonder and I begin to feel bad. Food use to be my go to, what do I go you now?

  31. surgery.....i've had issue in surgery before.
  32. I have been on this journey since Sept.2012 when I first discussed the idea of WLS with my doctor. She referred me to one of the best surgeon. He has been great and I was really ready to do this. So I thought. I started dropping weight. I was feeling so amazing. Then it happen, I got my approval letter in the mail and surgery date. March 1, my life would change. I was excited. As the date started getting closer and closer I found myself becoming more and more afraid. Judgement of friends and family did not make the situation easier. The day of the surgery I got to the hospital and before I knew it I was having a panick attack. The surgeon came and tried to calm me down but it didnt happen. He told me it's ok we will reschedule. Which is what I did but everyday from THAT date I have beating myself up for not being able to get myself together long enough to do it. Now here I am 2 weeks away from my new surgery date and I have no thoughts. More so shame and I dont understand why.
