  1. Wow. I'm so sorry you went through that. I'm already in the E.R. They drew blood && now I'm waiting on the results. Thank you all! You made me come to the E.R.
  2. Hello, friends. I had my gallbladder removed friday morning && I've been doing a lot of walking to get rid of all Thai has in my body, but my calves have been killing me every time I get up. I'm just wondering if that's normal?
  3. thank you ALL!???š
  4. so I had my lap band surgery in January of this year and now...I have gallstones. it's the WORST feeling I've ever had in my life. I'm scheduled for surgery this Friday. just letting you all know that getting gallstones after weight loss surgery is very common. just be cautious about the symptoms because it can get serious if you don't take care of it quickly.
  5. I'm so relieved! I was worried I wasn't doing enough. Thank you ALL!(:
  6. My mom got banded a few years ago && since then, getting the surgery was always on my mind. I began the process about three years ago when I was 17 && since I was a minor, I needed a doctor's consent && my doctor wasn't really up for it which was great news for me since I was so scared to get it. It wasn't my time. I wasn't ready for it. Last year,2012, around November, I felt like I was ready. I wasn't doing anything about my weight && I just kept getting bigger so I finally decided to get banded. Even though I'm only 20, I'm determined to lose weight && super focused. I don't think her age matters. When you're fed up with your weight, you'll do what you have to. I was banded January second of 2013 and I'm down 62 pounds && I'm still going. I think if she wants the surgery, just support her. It'll change her life the way it changed mine. She'll be able to be a normal young lady.(:
  7. If this was the right place to put this thread, but... I got banded January 2nd of this year and I'm down 62 pounds. Just wondering if I'm losing too slowly?
