I am not losing weight. My surgery was 3/25/13. I have not lost but 5 pounds. What could be going on? I am tracking my foods and my calories and Protein is dead on. Please help... HW:312, P-OPW:283.2, CW 281.2

I am drinking the EAS shakes three times a day which is close to 60g. I am slowly eating oatmeal and grits. I am drinking about 40 ounces of Water. HW:312, P-OPW:283.2, CW 281.2

So I had my surgery on Monday 3/25. Well I spent one night in ICU. Had NGT, art line, all the bells and whistles. I then the next day got very short of breath and was overloaded with Fluid. We corrected that, but then my potassium bottomed out. Then diagnosed with pneumonia, which I am battling even now. My two night stay ended in 5 nights. Needless to say, I am home. Not sleeping well and suffering from ridiculous gas. I think it is normal, but did anyone have very loose stools with the gas? I hope it is and that is goes away very soon. Hard to sleep with your stomach speaking louder than the cpap. On another note, left the hospital with no metformin, simvastatin, or blood pressure meds. That right there would have me doing this all over again! Here's to a speedy recovery and another chance at life.

So it has been 12 days since surgery. I have only last 3 pounds. Is this normal for after surgery? Kinda frustrated... HW:312, P-OPW:283.2, CW 281.2

Just had my surgery Monday 3/25. Despite some pneumonia and gas I'm on my way. I am so excited to start my new life!!

Good luck!! I struggled the 3-5 days. It get better just stay busy!!

Well I have started my scrapbook and believe me the first pictures are going to have flaps over them. Lol. Ugh. One more week and surgery date will be here!!

So this 2 week liquid diet is....awful!!! I'm starving and my blood sugar is out of control!! One more week of this pre-op!

Hi everyone!! I too am waiting on insurance approval. Dr thinks there will not be a problem, but the final word is the most important. Tentatively scheduled for March 25th. Has anyone thought of starting a weight loss scrapbook? I am starting one to help keep me focused. I am thinking pics every month followed by measurements. What do u guys think?
