  1. Anybody with Tufts Health Care in Mass?
  2. It was 40+ when I started. It is now 39-40. Depending what height I enter. I am 5'. 9 1/2". At 5-9 and 5-10 I get different bmi's
  3. Beth Israel? I knew her as a child. We hung out with Vernal Pool.
  4. My nutrition program is from my insurance company( their requirement) Been having a mix up with my regular doctor signing my up. Lahey told me to lose 25 lbs before surgery. I am down 17 so far. I check in with Lahey next in11 days.
  5. No I have not. I am in program at Lahey clinic. I met with nurse once, nutritionist twice, and finished 4 week psychiatric behavior mod program. I need a 6 month medically supervised weight loss program before getting approved. I am trying to get the paper work filed for that.
  6. I am having dinner with the relatives that owned the plastic chair I broke. He is a gastroenterologist. I will be looking for the most sturdy chair when I walk into the room. I will talk to him about lap band at his hospital.

  8. I live in eastern Mass. I thing there is a bariatic program at UMass Medical in Worcester. Play their game. They hold all the cards. If you need a recomdation from your PCP. Then get one from your PCP.
  9. I am in the program at Lahey. Looks like a summer 2013 band for me.
  10. My insurance company has the same requirement ( I Can ChangeProgram) Frustrating, but I think it is a good thing. I am in the program at my hospital, but, do not think I am getting enough information as to the lap band life style.

  12. As a matter of fact it happened another time. Always with the most judgmental people in attendance.
  13. I did break a chair at a distant relative's house. The look on their faces was disgusted. Very Embarassed. At other relatives houses... I arrive early and select a sturdy looking chair. NOT THE 150 year old antique!
