How much time did you take off of work for LBS?
I had 5 days off because of the New Years Holiday. I'm an RN but do case management now on the phone/computer. I wish I had taken another week. 2 weeks would have been about perfect.

sick of being sick
I've heard that (once it is completely healed) nail techs can place an artificial nail and make it look like your other nails until it grows back. Hope you feel better soon!

Chewable Multi-Vitamin
Bariatric Advantage are good. The Calcium chews are great!

What have I done to myself?
I had the same thoughts. I think as people we always second guess our decisions. Remember your reasons for having surgery and move forward. It does get better. I'm just starting my journey but I've already got rid of 1 medication and 19 lbs. I feel better already. You will too!

I love Greek non-fat yogurt
It's great with some dry ranch seasoning mixed into it and some veggies!

Received Huge Bill
I got an Eob from my insurance for 9,000.00 because the surgery was not approved. Called them and told them I have my copy of the approval letter and they better fix it.

Moment of weakness...banded 12/31/12
I begged my son to make egg drop soup with the chicken bullion. Clears are tough. Moved to fulls yesterday and they are much better.

I'm new and very nervous
Good luck! You must do this yourself. It is a tool to help with the dieting and that is how I would present it to your family. My family was/is very supportive I have asthma, high cholesterol, GERD, and degenerative joint disease 1 disc in my back is completely gone. I knew I had to do something different.

Newbie
I was banded on 12/28/12. After a life time of dieting finally decided I needed some assistance. Just finished clear liquids. Moved to full liquids yesterday. I'm having the most trouble getting my water in, my surgeon wants me to take in 64oz a day. It seems like such a chore. I have never been a big water drinker.
