  2. Soo I am very happy to report that today April 12 2013 at 130pm est I confirmed with my insurance company that I am ..... Approved! !!!!!!!
  3. There isnt a difference in general. Maybe there is a deductible for one. I forget. I dont have a deductible I have basic.

  6. Hello everyone! Ok sooo im sitting in pins and needles waiting on my approval from bcbs federal. Paperwork wad submitted on march 29th and today is april 4th and im still waiting. I have heard some people say it takes 2-3 days. I may be a little impatient but it seems luke my approval is taking forever! Can anyone tell me if they have bcbs federal how long an approval actually takes? Im worried that may deny me. I dont know why im worried but I am! Thanks

  11. Hi everyone, Im thinking of switching from emory hospital with dr scott davis to northside hospital to have my vertical sleeve gastrectomy. Reason being emory has a $600 program fee which is very expensive for me right now. Has anyone encountered a program fee at the hospitals they went to? Has anyone decided to switch their doctor and hospital? If so, what was the process? Was it difficult to do. Any and all information would be appreciated!
  12. Hi I have one more group session left. Then I will have a one on one with megan. I think I met with my surgeon early because dr singh said o was doing well. I have lost 20 lbs in one month. I hope the pre diet is a week because because I could inagine a liquid diet before surgery would be very difficult.
  13. Hi I met with doctor davis on 2/21 and I really like him. I feel confident in my decision to choose him. He is very thorough in explaining the procedure, the things i would go through after. I did however fail to ask him if there was a pre op diet and what it consisted of. Were u on a preop diet?

  18. I finally have my psyc eval done! 2nd nut appt out of 3 on 2/14 and primary care med appt on 2/15. Im on my way to being sleeved! I cant wait until I hear that one important word...APPROVED!!!!!
