O I called the dotor office and they said they have to wait for a piece of paper that says I am approved! Grr! Wow that's crazy that you have to wait that long!

I am sick and tired of waiting on my doctors office to call so I can meet my doctor! I have known I was approved for over a week now I just don't understand how they don't know and what they are waiting on! I have been dealing with this wait forever and my redheaded self is getting very antsy!

Well for starters congrats? Who was your surgeron? How were you treated!

I myself am doing tons of reasearch and I am not affaird to ask a question that's for sure!

I am getting banded thru them in feb I am also going thru the independence office! I have a bunch of questions to ask you if you don't mind!

My husband and and I have set down and have had a nice long chat at 5 am this morning before he left for work. About how we can make this hole experence a family event! Our son who is 10 is becomeing chubby do to are love of food so we have decided that the hole family is getting a membership to the ymca not just me! Which is a wonderful idea if you ask me! My husband is currently about 50 pounds overweight and my son is a little chubby even thoug he is 5 ft 3 at the age of 10! We also talked about going to a little bit of counsuling to help him and better understand each other during this process! My husband has had to handle a lot in his life and do to this he has fears of people leaving him! He supports me in this 100%! Matter of fact I told him he didn't have to take of work for my next appt and I was put in my place pretty fast lol! Enjoy your day everybody!

I am a cna and was wondering if anyone can possibly tell me how long I might need to take off work! Really can't afford to be off to long. Is there anything I can do to make the healing process go faster! O for those of you don't know what a cna is its a cert. Nurses aid I lift people of excess of 100 plus pounds day in and day out!

My doc office told me the other day I will be banded as little as 3 weeks which makes it feb 6th! My husband told me tonight that he is going to miss me! Not sure what to make of that! My husband has also read up on the lapband and I think he has read a little to much to be honest! He read an article on the net about marriage after weight loss surgery and it stated divorce rates are high! Grr really! I wish each and everyone of you good luck with your journey! God bless!

I have a big o butt and I fear I will be small up top and big ( huge on bottom) any advice on how to make this not happen! Like what excerises should I do to make sure this doesn't happen! I have lost 78 pounds on my own and I am pretty even on both ends as of right now but its still a fear

Do you know how they determin what size band they give you! Or is it one of those things where he won't know until surgery!

has anyone had there surgery with weight loss surgical center?

Ok for starters I am not banded yet but will be with in the next few weeks! 1) how do you know what size band you will have? 2) Did any of you have to stay in the hospital overnight?3) I am wondering how much weight shold one expect to lose?
