I had my surg in dec 12. I have had 2 fills. 1st fill I couldn't tell a difference. My dr had put in 3.5 cc at surg. So I was noe at 4.5 cc. Then went 3 weeks later and got 3/4 cc fill. That one I have got stuck 2 times BUT its because I'm eating to fast. I'm slowing down and chewing better. I go back in 3 weeks and I hope that puts me in my green zone. I feel like I'm almost there. Just got my first fill. Surg was 12-12-12. My band had 4.5 cc in from surg. They put 1 cc in yesterday. I have a 10 cc band. I'm half full. My friend had her surg with me. She didn't get fill yesterday she only had 2.5 cc in hers. Same dr. Same day surg. All bodies different. Sent from my iPad using LapBandTalk

My friend had 7cc in at her surgery. She has done great. No problems at all. None of us r dr so we don't know. She has lost a lot of weight and never had a stuck episode. She chews very good. So far it's working!!! Good luck. Sent from my iPad using LapBandTalk

Don't feel bad. I did same thing and worried. I learn from doing things not by what others say I need to do. I listen to what my dr says but sometimes I just have to test the waters. We all learn from doing!! Good luck u can do this!! Sent from my iPad using LapBandTalk

I completely understand. My poor family caught 9 kinds of heli about a week after my surg. I was just mad cause I wanted to eat. But I got over it real quik. I was banded 12-12-12 and I'm doing just fine with cooking supper and them snacking in font of me. But oh boy I was mean there for a few days. Guess I was mourning food too. So how did u like it there. I had a good experience. Everyone very nice there. I go back to aftercare for a fill in about a week. I need a fill I can eat anything and I don't like that option. Sent from my iPad using LapBandTalk

Mine supports my decision but he won't change his eating habits and don't mind eating all his junk food right in front of me. It's hard but I just get up and go into another room It's also hard to cook all OUR FAV food for him every night. But I do it with a snarled lip Sent from my iPad using LapBandTalk
