  1. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...drooling.....
  2. Good luck with the Cheeseburger, I haven't had one since i've been banded (I can't do the bread or the big bites, I have to eat a turkey burger patty cut into tiny pieces and chewed, chewed, chewed VERY small with ketchup and mustard for some wetness to help it get down)!!! I eat less than my 3 1/2 year old daughter!
  3. Wow, what a difference already, I'll bet you lost weight during the surgery and will see that once the swelling goes down! Just out of curiosity, how tall are you? I SWEAR your before pics are ME! To the "T"...but i'm NOWHERE near 150#'s and fear that at that weight I would look emaciated!!! I'm 5'7"...
  4. Wasn't that painfull? Ouch.....I know mine gets sore when given too much attention so I can't imagine a needle poking around and around and around in there trying to find it....argh
  5. Lately my port feels "pokey"...not sure if it's because i've lost weight or because it's slightly twisted...If I lay on my back and do a "self exam" and stretch and pull up my head and feet, it feels nice and flat, but when I sit and play with it (sounds so funny doesn't it) I swear I can feel the side of it not the flat front...do other's of you have yours poke out that way when sitting?
  6. Yes my mom is the same way....I have 3 sisters and 2 brothers and we ALL know of her little "problem" we call it "telephone, television, tele-mama" so if we want something passed along (and quickly) we call mom! Since we are all aware of this, it hasn't been a problem, but I can see how it can hurt, i'm so sorry LauraP and Mini.
  7. Wow, what a difference, yeah that looks a tummy from a mommy-I'd recognize it anywhere...but they are worth EVERY bit of it...
  8. Sue, I'm so sorry you are having Gallbladder problems, I hope you are feeling better soon...I haven't actually had any attacks yet, only a slight aching, so I thought It had something to do with my port initially and that maybe the muscle was causing the mystery pains on the opposite side of the body...it just aches like a port that has been slept on....hopefully it is minor because I can't get it checked out until I get back from Vegas next week...pray for me!!!!
  9. Legster that is SO CUTE! Congrats on the size 12, that is so great! Is that AQUA color the one you bought? If so, I love, love, love the color....I want one.
  10. We must have similar belly's because mine looks like bitter beer face...LOL congrats on the restriction, hopefully it will stay for a little while for you.
  11. Good for you for taking that initial step...that's the HARDEST part. I want to get a TT or LBL as well so thought I'd wait until I lost another 20 lbs and then go for my initial consulation on all procedures, in the meantime I've been looking into surgeons in my area (Portland, OR) and putting $$ aside for my new body. (I feel so guilty because I have ALWAYS worked, I also just finished my BSBA in 2003 and am still paying that off, and now i'm a stay home mom and have NO income and I want all this expensive/risky surgery -even though it will benefit my DH, it is really for ME and I feel it is selfish and a bit guilty because of that. My DH supports it though as he spoils me rotten and my every wish is his command....yeah you wonder why I married him ??)
  12. Yeah that looks my me without a bra on...I would love to have her after photos, that makes my back and shoulders feel better Just looking at it! The after pictures aren't that small either, what size was the patient after the surgery?
  13. Oh man, now you have me scared......I'll call and make an appointment for after I get back from Vegas...wish me the best that nothing happens before then! It hasn't hurt at all in the last day.
  14. You are so patient, I would jump in my car with a crazed look on my face and head straight in to deal with these "nice people" in person.....grrrrr
  15. yeah they are filming it here, how funny! Yes the books are really good, I couldn't put them down (there are three currently) for four days until I was completely done!
  16. because you had a tt not a LBL did you notice any reduction of cellulite in your thighs? Did your bottom flatten out? (sorry so personal, i'm just so curious)
  17. Thank you for your help, you are so helpful with these questions and we all appreciate it!!
  18. Yes, If I lay on my back and put my legs in the air, they look GREAT! LOL When I pull them up, they look good too, so I guess I just have to wait until I can get some PS! Until then, I'll bermuda it...(I love my butt still though, so it's so sad I can't show that with short shorts....LOL)...and the most important thing is that my husband loves it all (he's obviously quite blind) and that's important! Yes I too stick out my DDD's and usually that distracts, but only as long as I have a very good bra on! Man getting older sucks, I used to have it all....now....not so much.
  19. Help, does anyone know what is the best bet for cottage cheese thighs? Is there a natural way (exercise or lotions) that can help with the appearance? I've lost enough weight that I want to wear shorts, but hellllooooo *cottage cheese thighs* are attention grabbing and they are gross. They are bumpy ALL the way around the top of the thigh and I am very self conscious of them. Tanning helps with the appearance a little, but I worry about the long term affects....I've also tried self tanning sprays, lotions etc and end up with orange spots in obvious places and it's scary.
  20. I am an F (I sometimes wear a DDD, but it is dangerous if you get my drift) and I REALLY want a reduction. Do you know if this is typically covered by insurance? If so, how do you start the process? Do I have to have a history of visiting the Dr. about back ache's because i'm not one to complain and have not seen a Dr. about this, but have been getting therapeutic massage for the past 1 1/2 years (and my insurance pays for it!) and I would KILL for smaller boobies.
  21. Ouch, sounds painful..are you happy with the final results?
  22. This may sound like a stupid question, but your belly button looks really good (very real) I have been researching TT and have seen some that look 'weird'....my question is: do they use the same belly button or create a fake one? I don't know if some surgeon's do it differently or what, but some look better than others....I don't get it.
  23. No problem, I see you are in Seattle, I'm in Portland OR-so we're practically neighbors! Hey have you read those books the "Twilight" series by Stephanie Meyers? Your avatar makes me think of them....they are about vampires, that's why the red eye makes me think of them...anyway....again the ADD is taking over, I wish you luck on your journey.
