  1. that's awesome I was banded on 12/28/12 I'm not sure about your phone I haven't looked at that yet. Are you using the app or going to online? When I click on my profile on the very top in blue it shows Message Boards Groups Blogs Find Members --- this is the one you want to click!!!! Invite Friends----- this one is for a email or Facebook Hope that will help
  2. Also what's your username I'd love to have you as my friend as well. The more the people the more support and encouragement!
  3. I was very confused bc it did the same to me. I figured out that if you are on the home screen and click friends it wants a Facebook or email to add them. So what you have to do is click my profile then click find members ....and tada!! It took me quite some time to figure that out
  4. I like my muscle milk lite! Chocolate
  5. Hey thanks for adding me, I was trying to figure out how? It always asks for their Facebook or email

  12. Lol well I don't think I'm getting a lot of food or broth really but I seem to be drinking enough since my pee is normal omg a Starbucks sounds awesome right now
  13. That sounds like a great idea! I will have to try that. I have sugar free jello and Popsicles. I'm just having a hard time eating or drinking a lot. I can't even sit and drink a small bottle of water I just sip and sip then end up putting back in the fridge for later. When I eat the now awful chicken broth lol I only have about 5 bites and I'm done. I hope I'm at least meeting the correct amount of fluid a day
  14. It's been going ok,I haven't Really wanted any food so that good but I'm soo sick of chicken broth!! I cannot wait till Friday and be able to eat a different type of soup

  17. Hello all, I was banded last Friday 12/28/12. I am feeling a lot better other then the horrible gas pain in my chest uhhh. Anyways I just wanted to ask if anyone else was puffy or swollen under their incisions? My large incision looks good but under it seems pretty puffy? Not sure if this is normal or not. I am suppose to call my Dr. Tomorrow for a follow up I guess this week but it just made me nervous. I haven't had any problems eating or should I say drinking. when I move around ( getting out of bed, going to sit or cough) that is wear the pain is. Any suggestions or thought would be great!! Thanks & Happy New Year Bandsters!!!
  18. Congrats on Monday you can do it! I had mine done yesterday and it isn't too bad at all. We are here for you if you need anything this site has been wonderful! Good luck!!
  19. To be honest I felt the same way. I wasn't sure I would get thru not eating the food I love and only being able to have liquids. I won't say that it was easy but it is doable. I just tried not to think about all that food and kept only things I could have at home. My husband would not eat around me which helped a lot. All you can do is just jump into it and take 1 day at a time I was just banded yesterday so I still have the 2 week liquid post op and that's scary but just breath and take it a day at a time. If I can so it so can you believe in yourself you are strong!!!!
