  1. You definitely don't need HIM in your life.
  2. I think there's restriction and then SUPER restriction. I'm about where you are, no PBing or sliming or anything, but I definitely know when to stop eating! (I've had a couple things threaten to stick, but it was just a mild discomfort and then it went down). From what I've been reading around here, it seems like many people want to be tighter than what I am now, since I can still eat a decent amount, and I can eat most anything. But, I'm losing, and I rather like that I can eat what I want, so I'm happy here. I'm basically eating what I ate before, just less of it. And I'm losing steadily. So why make myself miserable? (I can eat about 1/3 of a restaurant meal - where I used to finish it and then stop at DQ on the way home). I am almost afraid to say this out loud, but I've never really had a hard time losing weight. Even when I cheated LOTS on WW, I was still down every week, just in small amounts. And I'm ok with that, because any weight down is the right direction. I'd rather be able to eat what I like and lose weight slowly, then to be super restricted and drop 3 pounds a week. My problem has always been seeing it through and then keeping it off, which hopefully won't be a problem this time. Boy did I ever carry on there, eh?
  3. I must be threatening enough, because my scale seems to have started moving again after WEEKS of teasing. Whew!
  4. I hope my fat ass doesn't demolish it while I'm trying to go down the road. What IS the weight limit for those things? I just got a cheapie at Wal-Mart since I have a history of not following through on stuff. This way I figure I can just give it to my daughter when I either a) admit I never ride it or  ride it so much I decide I need a nicer one. Anyway, it's of course been cold and rainy since I brought it home so I haven't even been on a test run. There's a great bike trail near my house, I can even ride TO it. Heaven knows I need some time away from the house/kids. I really have no good excuse. Do I remember how to ride? Is it... like riding a bike?
  5. It doesn't bother me so much that they carry them around in the car seats, because it IS much easier to be able to set them down to juggle everything else you do. I do, however, take issue with WHERE they set them down. I can't stand to be eating in a restaurant and see someone put one of those seats on a chair. That can't possibly be safe/stable. Yikes!!
  6. These threads always make me feel selfish and guilty. I pretty much just indulge myself whenever I feel like it. I just assumed my reward for hitting goal would be plastic surgery, and that's really all the goal I need. I've wanted these boobs put back for YEARS.
  7. What IS the size limit for rollercoasters? I told my boys I'd take them this year, but I wanna make sure I fit before we head out! LOL
  8. You're my hero. I wish I had 1/8th of your motivation. Mail me some, will ya?
  9. Frankly, I don't think they know what causes slips and what doesn't. So, some doctors are extra cautious, others are not so much.
  10. No one really pays attention to what you're eating.
  11. Shame on you for bailing on us just because you weren't losing! We're here to support you either way it's going! You have nothing to be ashamed of around us, we're all fat too! My first fill was good for about 2 weeks, then went to crap, so omg July! I hope it holds out for you!!!
  12. Somewhere along the line I'm going to treat myself to all new underwear
  13. Apparently it's a v-neck t-shirt and jeans. LOL. Although, to be honest, I'd like to actually look GOOD in a t-shirt and jeans. Novel idea there. So maybe my dream outfit is the same one I already have, just 5 sizes smaller?
  14. 256 the day I joined WW in August of last year. That's about 20lbs more than I ever was 9 months pregnant. Nice. I think I weighed in the 130s in the first bits of high school, but the least I've ever weighed as a grown up was 147. At 147 I looked like a dinosaur because I have an unusually large head. Big head - small body = not a good look.
  15. I slept on my side, because I CAN'T sleep on my back. I found if I held a pillow against my stomach and then rolled onto it, that it helped a LOT.
  16. They've knocked you down, but all you gotta do is get back up and try again! I never had the option of insurance covering my operation. I wish they would have, I'd have done whatever they wanted to save myself that $13k!
  17. Yes! Everytime we go out to eat! They bring the food and I'm like "wth, that's a lot of food". I always polished it off before without a problem. Now that just seems insane to me. The might as well be walking the cow out on a leash to my table.
  18. I think it's just because you're not eating as much (and then along the way, have less body weight). I used to be a glass and a half of wine girl, now half a glass is MORE than enough!
  19. They don't ask anything specific or thought provoking. You'll do fine!
  20. My eyes have improved over the years to the point that I'm now 20/20. Does that mean that now that I'm losing weight, they're going to get WORSE? lol
  21. You just need to put smaller clothes ON, Jaime! Then you'll be able to tell. You can't see a thing if you're swimming in stuff! Thanks for the comments, everyone. It's nice to see a small change, even though I still have a long way to go! At least I know it's working!
  22. All I found were a bunch of mom jeans. LOL
  23. Obviously I'm the photographer in my family, so try to overlook the image quality here. lol The first one was when my neighbor and I started WW. The middle one was taken just before starting my preop diet on Jan 31st. The last one was taken this morning. No, I'm not angry, just light eyed and it was sunny. Don't look at my angry face, just look at my 2 size smaller jeans. LOL My necklace seems to be getting longer and I may or may not be in a shirt style rut. I've still got a long way to go, but it's nice to be able to see some changes!
