  1. I would sip it more slowly than you did in the past. As long as it's going in slowly, it'll slide right through.
  2. You'll probably need someone to drive you home, since you're not supposed to drive on narcotics. Once you get there, though, you'll probably be fine. The first 2 days I didn't get around so good, but all I could "eat" was liquids anyway, so I just kept a bottle of Isopure by the bed. LOL
  3. B: Egg/Toast L: Bean and Salsa taco S: String cheese and ww crackers D: Club Sandwich (not ideal, but it is what it is)
  4. CSI Miami and LV, Law and Order (original and SVU), 24, LOST, Biggest Loser, Survivor, pretty much anything on TLC, Discovery Health, uh... I dunno.
  5. I don't watch until they're down to like 12. I'm a fair weather fan. LOL
  6. Most of my live was spent in the Metro Detroit area, but I've been in Ohio for 4.5 years and I LOVE it. Maybe not the winter weather so much, but otherwise. From October - April I'm pretty much vowing to move to Florida. But the rest of the months I'm happy. LOL
  7. Nope! Sounds perfectly ok to me Just have to count the calories, but doesn't sound like there's too many!
  8. That made me literally laugh out loud.
  9. Seems a lot has changed since I last knew of him.
  10. I could never understand why my husband would want to have sex after watching me give birth. lol
  11. 3 months of fills is a racket if it starts from the day of surgery
  12. The idea that I was "wasting money" by not finishing everything on my plate is what got me fat in the first place. My ex eats until he's full and then stops. To him, eating after that is totally illogical. I used to say "but we're paying for this meal!" to which he would reply "and we're paying the same price whether you eat it or not, if you're full you're full." I guess I'm happy to "throw my money away" as you put it, if that's what it takes to have a healthy relationship with food.
  13. I was feeling bad enough about the ice cream. It's not that I don't WANT to eat a chalupa. But fear of my band slipping is far greater than any of my compulsions, thankfully! LOL
  14. I put on and wore my size 18 jeans from 7am til just now! I finally had to take them off so I could exhale, but THEY WERE ON! First time I have worn that particular pair in 4+ years. On a side note, I have about 10 pair of 18s on the shelf waiting for me and I noticed today that they are all hideously cut mom jeans. Guess new clothes are on my horizon. Darn.
  15. I love the idea of getting a tattoo over my big scar. I have never had one before, so it would almost be fitting to get my first one as I start my new life. Wonder how well they'd be able to cover it. Hmm.
  16. I liked the idea of the band being adjustable. Plus, the surgeon offered all of those and his wife had a band, so I figured if that's the one he chose for her, that's the one I'd take.
  17. I had 5, but 4 of them are super puny, and are where I have 500 stretch marks anyway, so you can't even see them. And I'm only 3 weeks post-op.
  18. I look at and take pictures of people for a living. Doesn't take me long to notice an unflattering arm cradling a breast.
  19. How many calories a day are you eating?
  20. I would suggest we start the 5k together, but it seems some of us are already in better shape than others (me being "others"). LOL
  21. And with a BMI of 38.7, you are most definitely in the "obese" category. I hope I misread the tone of that last post, but I got a "I'm not as fat as you all are so I don't need this" vibe from it. My BMI is currently 34.8 and I'm definitely obese, fat, and anything else you want to call it. Also not that confident that I can be one of the whopping 2% of people who manage to lose the weight and keep it off through diet and exercise.
  22. So only lazy people are obese?
  23. I thought maybe you'd been off doing something that wasn't exercising with that Kramer bit. I actually asked my husband if he'd make me personalized C25k podcasts. He said he would, and got all the music streamed, he just hasn't added the voice yet. I'd much rather have him encouraging me. :w00t:
