  1. I liked at the eob, no codes listed on there. Called the office, was told someone would get back to me, and they never did.
  2. Guess I should add that I went through true results. Has anyone experienced this?
  3. I have bcbs of Michigan, they were supposed to cover 100% of my surgery. I've been logging on to see what they covered. They denied a charge for "surgery assistant" for over $8000!!!! I have no idea what this is or why it was denied. They paid the dr and the hospital fee completely. Freaking out since I can't call the dr, the office is closed.
  4. Sure. I'm hoping its safe to assume it should be an evening meeting. So how about last Thursday of the month at 6:30? Would that work for you all. We can start this month. So that gives us approx. two weeks til the first meeting? I can check with that coffee shop on s. Collins and see if that's a good time to meet.
  5. Bumping this up for the ppl that were interested that couldn't find the thread.
  6. Sorry just seeing the replies about the dfw bandsters thread. I will bump it up and you can let me know if you're interested.
  7. Cheryl 70lbs is awesome. So far I'm down 21.5 without anything in my band. And that's just been since surgery (almost 3 weeks). I've been on solids for a bit now. And continue to lose. I'd at least like to try and see how far I can get without a fill. Hoping I don't experience the hell everyone speaks of!
  8. Not jogging yet, but I sure want to be. And I'm really considering changing drs. My dr insists on giving fills, he didn't even seem willing to consider the idea of waiting til they are needed.
  9. Carolina, I think you're my new hero You may remember from a previous post that I wanted to try to go unfilled for as long as possible. So far it seems ok. Hoping I can be able to say I'm down to my goal with no fills!
  10. So I'm almost 3 weeks post op. and so far, I'm still not having a whole lot of hunger, I'm still satisfied by small amounts of food. I'm just wondering if anyone has managed to avoid the bandster hell? Or is it just too early for me to have made it there yet?
  11. I think I just prefer something more entertaining. Lol. I'd love to get back jogging. My goal is a half marathon next year, and several 5ks this year. That 3 months def put me behind schedule. Lol
  12. I'm almost 3 weeks post op. and I'm wondering. How you all are getting your biotin in. I'm scared to try swallowing a pill!
  13. Don't get me wrong, just venting. I'm incredibly blessed to be able to walk. I'm just ready to be active and get this weight off.
  14. Sorry, just needed to put that out there. My surgeon recommends no execrcise other than walking for the first three months. This sucks, walking has always been my least favorite form of exercise. I'm ready to get moving. Vent over
  15. Would like to get a group going in the Arlington area. There's a coffees shop off of 20 and Collins. Was thinking we could meet once a month and talk about things that are important to us and our success. Let me know if you're interested. Would really like to get this going.
  16. I started a thread called dfw bandsters a few days ago. Didn't get many responses. Would love to get a group going!!!
  17. I thought you looked familiar, I was the last person in the waiting room after you!
  18. Tara, were you there today?
  19. Just to see how far I can get without them. I feel like let's wait til I stop losing or slow down, then lets start filling.
  20. Supposed to say 11 days post op.
  21. I'm really not happy with the dr that did my surgery. I think his office staff is sub-par, and he's not really willing to listen. I'm down 20lbs and I'm 11 post op, all this weight since surgery. I asked if I wanted to try to lose with no fills how would that work, he totally disregarded me, and responded by saying I would be getting fills, and that he was the captain. Wtf??!!
  22. For those of you with no fills, do you have episodes where you still get stuck? Do you practice the same guidelines, ie. small bites, lots of chewing, small amounts of food in a meal? Is there anything you can't tolerate?
  23. Thinking mine is too. I notices that the steri-strips around my port site were a little loose and had a different color to them. The ones on the end were lifted and the wound is oozing a little
  24. It was mentioned in another thread that some of us would like to form a group and maybe meet up in person. If you're interested, reply to this thread and if you have any ideas for meeting post them as well! Looking forward to meeting you guys!!!!
